So who failed conditioning test?

Better not be a skill player on that list. No excuse.

 Oh more drama lol. One guess is maybe jenkins. He really seems to be a half ***er. But i guess he's got until at least week 7 to get into shape lol.

My instincts tell me that it has to be defensive linemen.

Probably Coleman and Spears. Potentially Livings on the offensive line.

This one is a common coaching ploy. You pick a couple of vets who you know you can really give it to and make them do the drill again. It is a way for a coach to show everyone that he doesn't care who you are, you are going to have to be ready. Phil Jackson wrote about how he used Horace Grant in this role all the time. Rex Ryan talked about how he used Bart Scott this way too.

We're told by players that training camp isn't as necessary because they train year-round now.

Then they fail their conditioning test.

Man, I certainly don't want to sound like a Debbie Downer, but this is absolutely unacceptable. This is your damn job. All we've heard from Valley Ranch this off-season is how focused everyone is and they all realized how much more effort had to be put into this season and you've got VETERAN guys that show up unable to pass a simple conditioning drill on the cusp of one of the most physical stretches of the season? Really?! Sorry, but this just straight pisses me off.

Yea, he was sure "half arsing" it all over the field for us last year, wasn't he?

Good grief..

My guesses are Ronald Leary, Pat McQuistan, Marcus Spears, and/or Josh Brent.

Ron Leary has shown really good conditioning, and he is not a veteran.

I'd be stunned if Josh Brent is one of them.

All make sense except Leary. I'm almost certain that the OP said "veterans".

I don't think any O-linemen would fail. Don't they have the easiest standards to go by?

Comparitivly speaking, they have the most leniency in how long they have to complete it, but they are also much heavier and slower, so the coaches are still going to set a time for them that is challanging.. so by no means is it "easy" at all. They have just as good a chance at failing as any of the skill guys, who have to complete it in a much faster time.

Whoever failed it might be the highly sought after fat tub of goo capable of replacing Ratliff at nosetackle.
