RIght now, I would stay with Dak. Basically, I would play him for at least a couple more games, and let Tony heal as much as possible. at some point, though, I would put Romo back in. If he stinks it up, pull him.

I appreciate your honesty.

Dak stays on the field. Can't change now, it would be crazy to do so.

Give Romo some playing time in the 4th quarter of the C

Yep...only time you take Dak off the field is if they are up 21 points with 7 minutes left in the game and then give Tony some playing time doing cleanup duties and to see how rusty he is.

I'd go with Tony if he's even 85-90% of 2014. Yesterday Dallas relied a lot on turnovers and busted coverages/DB's being juked off the TV screen. That isn't sustainable. I loved the pass to Brice to end the half, but, frankly, Kitna could have completed the rest of the passes on our big plays. I wouldn't expect a similar performance to net a W in January. Nor do I think a similar performance would have netted Dallas a W against the prior teams that bounced Dallas out of the playoffs, including the 2014 Packers.

Dak wont ever be up 21 points....he's not good enough this season to do so.

And that was the point of my thread I started last night in the QB zone. This type of play will not cut it come playoffs.

I disagree with this. You put Romo in mop up duty and he takes a bad hit and that could end his season again.

What happened the last 2 times were were up by 21 or more with Romo? One was a Greenbay game and the other was the Detrot Lions.

You really dont like the way the team is playing under Dak eh?

I am actually interested to know why. Is it just your love for Romo?

I dont care about how they're playing in the regular season...I care about playing this come playoff time. Its how you get sent home quick.

And lets not even touch the possibility that zeke (who is really driving the teams success) could become injured at any moment and dak would most likely take a nose dive in performance. He doesnt have the ability to overcome team mistakes or injuries to other key components of the team. Tony does.

Sounds like some crappy defenses gave up a lot of points.

Well granted, it was Jason Garrett in control of the offense at that point, so we cant blame just Romo. Remember the game where Murray was averaging 8 yards a rush in the first half. Garrett ran him only 7 times in the 2nd half up by 23 and Romo threw 3 picks and we lost. Threw 3 picks and lost to GB also.

And no doubt the defense didnt do us any favors.

Whoever the coaches determine will play the QB. I think it is hard call to make no matter how people spin it. For me, I will pull for both guys. I can see an argument for all views and god knows everyone has one. All I care about is who ever is behind center that they continue to help this team win games.

I'd go with Dak the rest of the season and make it clear its for the rest of the season, and state what Romo's role is.......I'm getting tired of the "But Romo would have scored 50 yesterday or Romo with this line would be 6-0".
