Didn't we need Atlanta to beat Carolina in Week 16 last year? How'd that work out?

Given the personality of the Cowboys, I don't think it really matters whether we're playing at home or on the road.

(Heck, TO may get booed more at a home game than an away game.)

The problem with the Cowboys is that we just don't know what product we're going to see on gameday. There is no consistency.

It seems we're getting back to the win one game and then lose one game mentality - the way we started the season.

I guess this week it's our turn to win one game. (And this doesn't bode well for the week after, unfortunately!)

Of course I will, but Atlanta stands very little chance of winning the game, unless Philly comes out flat after their big win this past Monday. Possible? Yes, but not probable.

That's complete horse****. Any team can beat any team in this league. Did you catch the score of the Houston/Colts game?

I will not be rooting for Atl or the Eagles,, I don't really care. At this point, we don't deserve to win the Division.. we are 2 and 4 in the division. If you can't beat the teams in your division, you have no right to win it regardless of your record.

Plus, I think this team needs a road game right now. So being in the #5 seed may be the best thing for this team, regardless of where we play at.

i don't know how true this is, i don't feel like doing the research, but it seems every team that has beaten us this year, except Jacksonville, has gone on to lose the next week. So I wouldn't just rule out Atlanta in this game against Philly. Just throwing that out there,, I don't really care either way at this point.

Atlanta is still fighting for something

Well, they might not be, if the Giants take care of business on Saturday. However, I think the Skins take em' and Sunday is going to be exciting for a lot of 1:00 games.

Atlanta.

I want to be NFC East Champs.

I really don't care who we play in the playoffs or where we play. To me It's the old cliche...if you want to be the best you have to beat the best who ever that may be or where ever we have to play them.

If we are the better team, we'll win if not then we don't deserve to win.

Gosh lets see, oh well may as well hope Alt wins the game along with Dallas. After all if we have to play 3 playoff games to reach the ring may as well get 1 at home.

Go Commanders (hard to say that) on Saturday night first. Then, go Carolina (who holds a tiebreaker over Atlanta). Then, go Atlanta? Oh crap, they will be probably be eliminated by the time they play. Remember how Dallas came out and laid an egg last year vs. St. Louis? Same scenario. Bummer.

No, I won't root for Atlanta. The last thing this team needs is to back into the NFC East Championship.

This team NEEDS to be on the road in Seattle IMHO.

I never root for the other division teams unless they are playing someone who it helps us to lose. Yes, I am rooting for Atlanta and would be even if neither team was a playoff thought at all.

We're better off as the 5 seed, but I'll still be rooting for Atlanta. It's about pride and the NFC East championship, and also, the Eagles are spawns of Satan.

Jim Mora's about to be fired and Ashley Lelie is out, Sorry, there is no way Atlanta wins this game, they have already packed it in.

I always hope Philly loses, regardless of the game

that said, I am so frustrated with our team that at this point I dont care. We clearly dont deserve the division title.

I will be happy with a division title anyway they get it. You cant tell me a 9-7 Eagle team would be any more deserving of the NFCE title.

Deserve has nothing to do with anything. Your record will determine who is seeded where. If the Eagles win aginst Alt then they earned the NFC East if Dallas wins and Philly drops then Dallas earned it just as well by having the better overall record.
