So you rather be the Vikings or Cowboys fans today?

I sure hate to be Vikings fan. This would make me down couple weeks. I felt that when cowboys lost that game in 2007. So close and yet so far. This year, it was easy to forget because, Cowboys didn't have chance. At least that way, you can't think about, maybe if they made this play or that play, we could have easily won.

Boy, I would hate to be Vikings fan, especially considering, clearly, Vikings were the better team by a mile, other than the fact they had ton of turnovers and even got lucky to not have more actually.

Does it really matter? If some of our fans were vikings fans, they would want to cut ADP after his fumbles. I think I would rather be somewhere in between last week and this week for the vikings. Don't lose big, but don't lose on an overtime field goal. Or better yet, just win the game.

I've been a fan for a long time, and have seen the Cowboys lose the NFC Champ game just like this. 1981? 1994?

It flat out hurts, and hurts for a long time. I've never gotten over some of those losses.

Well yeah of course. You rather be Saints or rather be the final team that won everything. But my question was not about that. Of course every fan would love to be the fan of the team that won it all.

Figuring the Vikings where in the game had had a chance to win I say the Vikings. Our team got taken behind the woodshed beat down and was left on the door step crying curled up in the fetal position, sucking their thumbs.

Vikings could have won the Super Bowl and I'd still want to be the Cowboys fan. I'm just wondering who to cheer for now. I think I'm going for the Saints. I like that they signed Deuce McAllister to be the honorary captain. And I'd rather support Sean Payton and Dan Campbell (yes, he's on the IR for the Saints currently) than the Colts, because I have a friend who's a Colts fan who knows nothing about football. As far as I'm concerned, any bad blood between us and the Saints can wait until the 2010 season.

Exactly, thats my point. Luckily I was out of country during that 94 playoff run, so missed it. I only came back after it was way over. So didn't hurt as much. But 2007 just absolutely made me sick to stomach. Haven't gotten over it even now.

No kidding. I drove to the stadium and cried.:

I was thinking this myself a couple of days ago. Was it worse to lose like we did last week or in a close game with a botched field goal attempt? I'd have to say the latter is worse. A punch in the gut. Hope ripped out of our grasp in the final seconds.

Imo, a decisive loss hurts less. lol

Yeah Ok, I guess. I don't know, if Flozell didn't get injured, or Columbo played Decent maybe the game would have been slightly different. Either way, game was clearly out of hand. Score indicates that they took us to woodshed.

But cowboys had a chance if Flozell didn't get hurt, since Cowboys D kept game within reach, till it became out of reach in after 3rd. So like I said, I was able to get over Vikings loss, because I knew if Flozell didn't play well or got injured Cowboys didn't have a chance.

i didn't cry, but it hurt real bad for two weeks almost.

ANd yeah, I believe the same thing. Decisive game you can get over easily since you cannot if and but about one or two plays. THats all my question was about.

Cowboys should be in SB?? Why because Cowboys deserver to be? They got beat clean and taken to woodshed by Vikings. I am sure Eagles fans or most 12 other team fans that made Playoffs rather be SB too.

Man, way to kill the thread and the topic :D Question was not about would you rather be Saints/Colts fan or Cowboys fan. It was about what kind of loss hurts more?

I'd rather be a Cowboys fan even if we had gone 0-16. I can't help it that I love this team. If it were a capital offense, punishable by death I would patiently await my trip to glory.

Considering the Vikings are 0-4 in the Super Bowl and 0 for their last 5 NFC Championship games since thier last Super Bowl visit, I think I would rather be a Cowboys fan.

The OP was trying to ask would you rather be a fan of the team that lost last week (like the Boys did) or a fan of the team that lost today in the NFC championship game (like the Vikes did). Of course, we would all rather be Cowboy fans, but that clearly wasn't the intent of his question.
