The Pats were able to go 11-5 without Brady. The Squeelers were able to win games without the Rapist. As was pointed out the Cards won with a bevy of JAGS at the QB position. AND it is winning that matters not how many points are scored.

Yet here we cannot eke out a single win without Romo. THAT IS ON THE HC. And on the GM for not getting a better backup QB. I remember that Garrett was the one that wanted to keep Brad Johnson as a backup.

Cardinals finished 2-5 last year. Pats actually went 10-5 without Brady, but they did have the benefit of absolutely awful teams in Miami, Buffalo, and the Jets. They were even worse than this division. The Steelers won with defense and a running game, much like Seattle, for a long time, which is the style I most prefer.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys just faced Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Eli Manning. That was with Brandon Weeden and a guy who just got here. The timing here was really bad for Romo's injury, although if they can find some footing, they'll have him when it matters most. Hopefully, it won't be too late.

8-8, 8-8, 8-8 - All the *****ing and moaning that went on and how Romo couldn't get us over the hump was really...

4-12, 4-12, 4-12 - Without Romo.

Lot of people in the organizations got free passes during those years because we were at least competitive--

Everybody except Tony.

No, they didn't win a playoff game, and they finished the season 2-5.

Actually the Arizona Cardinals went 3-4 in the last 7 regular season games after Carson Palmer went out.

Drew Stanton went 3-2 when forced to start including a victory against the Cowboys.

Went they had to go to their QB3 in Lindley the bottom fell out and they lost their last two regular season games and their playoff game.

The real question is how in the world did they surpass impossible odds and manage to win 3 games with their QB2? ;)

Cardinals finished 2-5 last year.

The Cards finished the season 3-4 after Palmer went out.

Their QB2 (Stanton) went 3-2.

Their Q3 (Lindley) went 0-2 (and a loss in the playoffs).

2-5 to finish if you add the playoff game.

And look at the points scored per game after Palmer's injury. Makes Weeden look like Joe Namath.

Pats were coming off a 16-0 season, had Welker and Moss and a solid D. The "squeelers" have one of the better RBs in the league, one of the better WRs in the league, and a defense that is looking a lot better this year.

I'm willing to wait and see how Cassle does these next couple weeks after getting his first game under him since the beginning of the 2014 season and our defense starts to get some chemistry.

I stopped arguing Romo stats and records with my Iggles and Gnats fans coworkers because all they ever do is say how many Super Bowls has Romo won.

It's not worth the kick to the head that I would like to deliver every time they say that.

So if thats their logic , how do Eagle fans argue about anything? No rings to stand on.

Romo has bailed out this offense for years. It mind numbing predictable UNTILL the panic sets in and they let Romo go shotgun 5WR and start doing what ever he can. Last year was the 1st year he ever had a consistent running game.

It's mindboggling how much hypercriticism Romo has received over the years.

While I think he's under appreciated it says more about the Cowboys backup situation than it does Romo. It says they don't have a backup. Other teams can win when their quarterback goes down because they have a decent backup. Romo doesn't.

He is Brady, Rodgers, Peyton, and Brees.

That's what he has become.

Ive always put him there;

Too bad he doesnt have much around him. Again, and once again....and for a third time...Again;

With Dez, he certainly does. A good offensive line, a star receiver, a reliable tight end, and a reasonable cast of receivers provided the former is there, and he's got plenty now. Especially if the defense plays to its ability with everybody back.

The last time the Cowboys won a game without Romo as the starter was with Stephen McGee back in 2010.

yeah, thats all great, but.......................................they cant win without him. When was the last time the Cowboys won a game without Romo???

The steelers can. I bet the Pats, Packers, Giants could win without their all-world QB. In fact the Pats and Packers have actually proven that. --------- Saints cant. Saints cant win without Brees. Not sure about the Gnats, but I bet coughlin could find a way.

I am surprised we couldnt....by the way. And I am not blaming it on the QB.....although he was extremely limited for an NFL QB. Weeden doesnt make the Roster on any other team in the NFL...... but it was the rest of the team. Dez goes down, Twill aint worth much. And it trickles. No one stepped up. No player, no unit, no coach. They lost all 4, and I am expecting 2 more against Seattle and Philly....

It has surprised me for sure....I thought we were deeper. I thought we had another identity besides Romo flinging it.

We arent. And we Dont.

When Romo is gone. Where does that leave us?
