Cooper is a better WR than Lamb at this point. He just is.

Route running and hands he is definitely great at. Speed, ok, I would say above average. Quickness is good.

You don't automatically hand over a symbolic number such as 88 to a young kid before he's earned it. If he wanted it then we'll consider it but he didn't even want it and they handed it to him. So in his mind he's arrived. I have a bad feeling about this kid.

He is not great out route running, even if you don't like Cooper, Lamb is nowhere near Coopers route running. Hands are not great, too many dropped passes, and maybe in college he was good at yac but not the NFL

Cooper is one of the best route runners in the NFL.
The statistics are there on the Lambs separation abilities and YAC numbers. His hands are incredible.
The drops are overblown. Go look at the drop lists for the NFL. They are all the best receivers in the NFL. Its a numbers game.

The deal is that Lamb should be a slot WR. He could be the best slot. Or a strong #2 perhaps with a good #1 with him.. To be a #1 he would need a strong #2 and a really good TE group.. And a run game..
