The deal is that Lamb should be a slot WR. He could be the best slot. Or a strong #2 perhaps with a good #1 with him.. To be a #1 he would need a strong #2 and a really good TE group.. And a run game..

That's the most baffling part, and there's nothing wrong with having an elite slot WR. We just need outside WRs that can help him play in that role.

Cooper is one of the best route runners in the NFL.

The statistics are there on the Lambs separation abilities and YAC numbers. His hands are incredible.

The drops are overblown. Go look at the drop lists for the NFL. They are all the best receivers in the NFL. Its a numbers game.
Look at %. CD is high in the % which neutralizes raw targets

We can disagree.

I forgot YAC by the way. Great YAC.

Route running and hands he is definitely great at. Speed, ok, I would say above average. Quickness is good.
He’s not consistent at hands. By any measurement. The Minn game 2 years ago shows he CAN make great catches. But he won’t do it consistently so the great hands are not reliable. Too many lapses over and over again

Lol no point in arguing. Lamb could prove us wrong, but so far he's shown nothing special in his career that he can hold the number 1 spot. He's shown he's a perfect number 2 receiver so far

Which would be great, if we had a legitimate 1WR who can draw attention away from him. Unfortunately, Jerry doesn't understand this concept.

Exactly, and he often picks very bad times for drops. Drops happen to every WR. However, CD tends to drop the ball when we need him most.
