You don't automatically hand over a symbolic number such as 88 to a young kid before he's earned it. If he wanted it then we'll consider it but he didn't even want it and they handed it to him. So in his mind he's arrived. I have a bad feeling about this kid.
It should be earned and wanted, but ol Jerry the um uh hillbilly just anoints any player he likes to # 88 and makes them wear it even if they dont want it.

I think jerry thinks he has to have a #88 on the field at all times now. And that # probably is a good seller, but if you get a REAL good player like
parsons, that jersey will outsell a phony 88.

That's all Jerry's thinking about, marketability and jersey sales with that number.

I feel so bad for Micah Parsons being on this team. We don't deserve him.

The timing, execution, and fundamentals of the entire offense look terrible— not just Lamb.

Loads of slow, flat starts to games. Consistent mediocre production in the running game. Breakdowns in pass protection. Predictable playcalling.

Lamb has issues. Absolutely. This offense’s biggest issue imo is Kellen Moore. The entire unit is under-performing and is unable to correct the problem. That screams poor leadership, coordination, and management to me.
The offense’s biggest issue is the lack of talent.

It wasn’t last year. And the second half of the season the results were piss poor when the offense faced a decent defense.

They picked up right where they left off it would seem. Since the Denver game— this offense has struggled

Agree, since Denver nothing has changed for Wonder Boy and it showed against TB.

Just like with Garrett. Once the Vikings solved his riddle in the division round of 2009, he ceased to be an effective playcaller because he was not able to adjust. Nor is Moore clearly able to adjust. Therefore, he needs to be binned for someone who can call plays effectively.

They had decent weapons but lacked talent on the OLine so whenever they faced a decent defense they crumbled because if you can get pressure with 4 and drop 7 AND the opponent isnt running when you sell out for pass, your defense is going to look dominant and that was the recipe.

Well maybe parsons will find a way to get on with another better team in a few years from now when he sees that dallas will never
go to the big games anymore.
If he signs a extension, then it is on him no one else.

As much as i would like MP to get his fat contract here and Jones will pay him for sure knowing he needs a very shiny object with all the crap around him, if MP wants to be the best, play in Championship games, win SBs....he will need to go somewhere else. So i would not blame him if he would want to test the FA market. He will get his mega contract with a SB contending team. He doesn't owe Jerry any favors, or home town discount. You are right, Jerry and Dallas doesn't deserve him.

And some wonder why some of us root for players that have left here to win a SB. I was glad Ware finally won one. No reason why they should suffer with the rest of us.

How do you hand out 88 then? Wait until they are all pro then do a number swap??

No they give the 88 to young players with potential.

Let's not be silly.

and NONE offered more than the browns, what does that tell ya..right keep up the good work.,
That’s not true. Reports are we had better offers picks wise (likely a round higher if that). We took less because Cleveland was the only team to eat the entire contract

Lol.. that's speculation, you don't know If it was a cave in situation, you had more than 1 bidder that always drives the price up.
Of course I'm speculating.
But my speculation comes from basic bargaining and negotiating in other fields.
Be that as it may, yes, I'm guessing too. :)
