Doug Free is the 7th ranked OT (Tyron is 26th).
Leary is the 46th ranked guard.
Bern is the 63rd ranked guard.
Travis is the 31st ranked center.
Ware is the 8th ranked 4-3 DE.
Selvie is the 10th ranked 4-3 DE.
Hatcher is the 2nd rank DT.
Mo is the 93rd ranked CB... just ahead of Nnamdi Asomugha and Cortland Finnegan. Carr is ranked 11th.
Barry Church (yeah that BARRY CHURCH) is the 2nd ranked safety. Will Allen? 61st.

Free is doing well this year. There is a clear difference.

Waters may have rated slightly worse than Bern, but it is a small sample of plays - over a full game or two he's going to prove to be much much better

Pretty sad when 4 out 6 are negative. This line needs to stay healthy so they can gel as the year goes along.

It's two games. One against a team we historically played terrible against and another against a very good defensive front seven. All on the heels of switching to almost 100% zone blocking and starting a rookie at center.

No, we basically have two RTs. Tyson would be a pro bowl RT if he stays on the right side.

And Poe is a 3-4 NT and we are in the 4-3.

I thought Frederick struggled a bit early on, but played pretty well once the rain stopped.

I was much more down on Lee than Carter (who I thought played pretty well). Tough to decipher whose fault on some of the mixups in coverage were.

Anybody who wants to change OT's should have their head examined. We are able to leave Tyron on an island by himself. While Free has been playing very well, he still needs help. I'd take this OT play right now without blinking an eye.

The bottom comments were based on the combined rankings of both games.

A negative score isn't a bad score according to PFF. It's once you go worse than -1.0 (IIRC).

Because everyone and their dog was convinced Poe would be a bust. I don't recall anyone here wanting any part of Poe in that draft

What?! Are we talking about the same player? Free was atrocious at LT. He beasted at RT, then we moved him and he went in the can.
