What exactly is the point of this stupid thread?

Anytime you get bunch of people together, you are always going to have MAJOR and often vicious disagreements. You can also multiply that 100 fold when you have a medium such as the Internet where there is very little consequences for statements you make.

Coming out saying that this board would have been divided when Tom Landry was coach or when we lost in the Ice Bowl or when the team went 1-15 or when you had the Steve Walsh and Troy Aikman debates is like predicting the Sun is going to rise.

In any debate, there will always be extremes on both sides of the aisle. This happens at work, in politics and suprise suprise, on message boards.

This thread is simply another way to extend a stupid agenda and also to continue to question the loyalty of fans that disagree with the thread starter.

Whatever, it has nothing to do with any agenda - so if you think it's stupid, then be intelligent enough to ignore it.

1. Jerry does his job as a GM. Not always great (the galloway and Roy11 trades were dumb), but solid.

2. People aren't complaining about Jerry the GM. It's jerry the Enabler people don't like. If you continue to undermine the HC's authority and ENABLE players to make/break the rules, then the team will have no reason to respect the coach. When you don't respect the coach, you don't win many games. You certainly don't win many playoff games.


BUt if you want to continue to try and simplify it by saying "People complain about Jerry's work as a GM" then go right ahead on, Johnny. But you and I both know it's not that simple.

Enabler/Underminer same difference. If you hire a man to run your team let him do his job. Somebody call me when we actually hire a man

Try as you may 5Countem, but Jerry Jones is still a buffoon. Landry, Schramm and Brandt got the Cowboys to the playoffs 18 of 20 years.

Good ol Jerry tore down the 90's dynasty and hasn't won a playoff game in 13 years. He's Al Davis Jr., except Davis used to know football.
