I guess we could strap a 7 ft. wooden pole through the back of your pants and watch you walk around awkwardly. I don't think you would find it funny
I'll be Devil's Advocate. No, probably not, but if it was for a brief period of time, others found it rather humorous, it wouldn't bother me, I certainly wouldn't feel anyone should be punished for it.
I think you guys are looking too deep into the things Chldsplay is saying, and taking his use of the word "Torture" too seriously. I gotta side with him on this, and I've owned animals all my life. I had to put my dog of 16 years down just last week =(
There's a difference between harmless fun and torture/cruelty. Sure harmless fun can BECOME cruelty if done in excess, but I don't think Chldsplay is advocating that.
I currently have 2 cats. They are overly pampered and loved, and extremely lovey to myself and my girlfriend. There have been occasions where we've stuck a piece of used lent roller paper to one of their butts, or on their back, and giggled at their silly behavior afterwards. I don't see anything wrong with it at all, it's not something done often, nor is it ever done for very long. Our cats still love us very much, and they are taken very well care of.
