-I believe the front office/coaching staff believes the biggest offensive strength lies within their OL. The two hires of Schott/Solari suggests they really want to fix their ground attack, especially schematically. Zeke in all likelihood has played his last game as a Cowboy as I don't see him taking a large paycut to stay. Pollard is the one who they want to keep as he isn't just a RB, but more of a weapon. In my opinion, Bijan Robinson will be a primary target in rd 1, him and Pollard will fix that run game in a hurry. Also, do not rule out taking another high lineman, even as high as rd 1.

-This front office has always prioritized having elite wide receivers, TO/Dez/Amari, etc. After what just happened last season with Tolbert not being ready, I highly doubt that will go the draft route again and look to sign a veteran to fill the need. Now what type of veteran, that remains to be seen. Also, really struggling to believe the team will take an undersized receiver as they never have drafted one in the first two days of the draft. They will add another receiver, but probably in that 3rd-5th rd range.

-Much to my dismay, they aren't going to draft a high tight-end. Just look at the production they have gotten out of Shultz who was a former 4th rd selection. Ferguson was also selected in the same round. This TE group is very deep and they should still find quality in the later rounds at the position.

-I fully expect this team to be looking for another starting corner. They know they have 2 legit starters, but need a 3rd one as their depth has proven they aren't capable when needed to be called upon. Such a deep corner class, but everyone knows they always fly off the board quickly due to the demand at the position. I see corner has a top 3 priority draft need as the market is too expensive to add a quality veteran. There are some rumblings that Diggs is recruiting Patrick Peterson to sign with the Cowboys, he could serve as a bridge, short-term starter on the outside.

-We know this front office has never prioritized the NT position, but they did make a trade in-season for one, which they would of never have done in the past. They also, have taken to late prospects in back to back years. Will Quinn convince them to sign or use a high draft pick at the position?

-Believe they want to keep all their in-house fa's, but it's going to be difficult as three of their stars need contract extensions: Diggs, Lamb & Parsons. It wouldn't surprise me if we see some unexpected releases to create more space, especially where they can take cap hits now and not all in the future. Tyron, Zeke, Armstrong, Gallimore, Lewis, Hooker all could be on the hot seat.

I believe they’re going to do the things I’m completely against.

Draft a RB early, pick for need early and not be aggressive in FA.

Sigh.

I am basing my own opinions based on what I think they will do, not what I want them to do. Really believe they are going to view RB, G/T, CB as their 3 top draft priorities and no, they don't take the best player available, rather the best player at a need position.

It looks like Anton Harrison could be in play now as many draft insiders have him more in that top 35 range.

I wouldn't mind signing Chark, but with the Gallup deal and upcoming CDL deal, curious if the F.O. wants to spend up to mid range money for a WR

Personally, I’m not worried about the draft. But FA will probably be much of the same. I think the team will have a few surprises on their draft board. I think Sanders is going to be a top 15 player. I’m starting to think that he’s going to be a strong favorite if available.

Robinson doesn't have to be the primary target, but he is a possibility at 26. The real good value at running back will be in the 3rd and 4th round. They certainly need to take advantage of running back in the draft. They might even take 2 backs.

They should sign Chark. I want them to sign him and Payne.

Because the draft is long on TBs in that 3rd and 4th round range, taking one at 26 is just crazy to me.

They'd only take two TBs IMO if they decided to let Pollard walk and Elliott won't take the paycut.

If they cut Zeke and let Pollard walk. They would get a draft pick for Pollard, they could sign Chark from Detroit at receiver, draft 2 running backs and have them for 3 years, and have money left over.

Oh I know, we’re usually on the same page.

Will be keeping an eye on Anton during the next 2 weeks. Im a fan.

Which I would love. We’d go from being close to 20 million at the position to like 2 million in 1 offseason.

I don't disagree, but I am saying they aren't going to pass up Robinson if he fell to 26.

Chark is talented, but always hurt, he will be playing on his 3rd team early in his career. Hard pass for me, especially his price tag.

Taking a high LB is all contingent of not extended Lve. If he returns, very unlikely they draft that position, unless someone falls unexpectedly in their laps.

I think the majority would agree, but this is the same group of people making that decision. They do value the position higher then most. Perfect world you address the need early day 3, but they probably see the need more urgent than that.

Maybe so, pick could be Robinson, Mayer, guard from Florida, Gibbs, Musgrave, Sanders, a corner, or a receiver.

To me they need to take advantage and draft 2 backs and get the draft pick for Pollard and possibly draft another back next year.

The OL is a weakness, not a strength.

You aren't get any draft picks this season for Pollard and probably would receive a 4th comp in 2024. Tagging Pollard is fine, if they let Zeke walk, we can always move on from him next season, like it appears we will do with Shultz.

Yea, that's the big downside to him. But in terms of WR hitting the market, and the premise to sign one, there's not much out there, or at least the ones that should hit the market
