1. I think the NFL officials try to help keep games interesting. No way does Dallas get a call like that if we're out of timeouts.

2. I like Dez's attitude. Im tired of the old attitude of this team. I love Witten and Ware but being company men has got them very little playoff success.

3. Im just laughing at how Jason is up there telling everyone that we let defenses dictate our offense after watching Calvin get thrown to over and over in double coverage.

The loss doesn't upset me a whole lot. Im used to this. It's just that everytime we lose this year I just keep thinking of the mistake we made by not bringing in Andy Reid. I really think he could've put us over the top.

Reid has the same issues with time management as Garrett. Also do you really think he would have joined the Cowboys? Thats a Farve level AH move to do.

I was expecting to see more Carr hatred on here today.

Andy Reid, Sean Payton .. We went with Jason Garrett. smh

Jerry wanted Payton as the head coach, but Parcells was still around. And nobody in their right mind fires Parcells for Payton at that particular time. It probably would have killed any chance that Payton would have succeeded here.

Reid is a great coach *when* he has a great defense. When his defenses are decent, he isn't very good. That's why he crapped the bed once the late Jim Johnson passed away. Now he has a *great* defense again and he's able to manage that. We don't have a great defense.

Jerry ALWAYS holds on to players AND coaches for too long. This is why we remain a .500 team.

In Jason's press conference yesterday, again he said Dez is frustrated with the double teams and "attention". On every second down the Lions stacked the box, they were bold enough to bring their safeties to the line to stop our inefficient running game and we didn't make them pay once by tossing a lob to Dez. Unreal!

1. Ridiculous. It was an obvious holding call. A well-coached team has to know it can't afford any sloppy mistakes in that situation. That this sort of thing frequently happens with this team tells us how poorly coached it is.
2. Ridiculous. As I heard Ditka say this morning, I can't think of any circumstance in life where it's ok to act like Bryant was. You realize, there is a medium somewhere between the passive (non?) leadership of Ware and Witten, and Dez going psycho? Ditka said neither Landry nor Halas would've tolerated that. Bryant wasn't upset as much at losing (something he should be used to) as he was being upstaged by Johnson. If Dez had the game Johnson did and we had lost in the same manner, I doubt we see any outburst. He's becoming more like TO every year.
3. Can't disagree, although, double coverage or not, Johnson was getting open for many of those throws.

I think he's frustrated with Garrett as an offensive play caller who hasn't got a clue about taking advantage of match ups. Seriously, though, I think he's upset at losing more than anything else.

Garrett is starting to look more and more like a weasel. He never seems to accept responsibility.

IT was obvious holding but there is obvious holding that goes on the entire game that NEVER gets called. They chose to call holding in that situation because the ref thought Tanner was about to get a 1st down and he didn't want the game to end.

It was obvious the receiver tripped on Scandricks feet yesterday but they got the PI after we had the exact same play earlier in the game too.

2. Screw Ditka. Im tired of his old school thoughts on everything. When is he ever right about anything anymore? He was one of those guys calling the Browns dumb for trading Richardson for a first round pick.

I usually agree with you but not completely right here. Dez could have toned it down a little..agreed, but I don't think this had anything to do with Johnson upstaging him, I think it had to do with Romo rarely throwing the ball to him when he is the best player we have on offense. You have to get the ball into your playmakers hands. If you're not going to do that, you damn sure better be hitting the other receivers and Romo was not doing that. Why not hit Dez on some slants or something? He has the ability to take it to the house. This team badly needs urgency. Witten, Ware, Romo, etc are some of the worst leaders I have ever seen. These guys are so used to epic meltdowns and failures it isn't even funny.

You could dig up Lombardi and Landry and prop them up on the sideline and it wouldnt overcome a defense full of scrubs, and I am at the top of the "Ginger, Callahan and Monte were bad hires" list.

He was pulling his jersey with a ref right there. He has to throw the flag. We can't get angry because the ref didn't miss a call.

I think the Scandrick call was PI. And the one where the detroit db tripped Williams should have been as well. The DB was losing ground, lost his feet, and put his arm on Williams. That's PI. IMO, the "incidental contact" rule needs to be iced. The player (DB or WR) with position is tripped by the other, that should be a penalty. Billick even admitted that some players do that when they know they're about to be beaten.

The one call that did make me angry was one of Fairley's hits on Romo where he speared him in the back. It wasn't roughing because Romo had just released the ball, but Fariley clearly led with his helmet. He may be an even dirtier player than Suh.

Old school or not, Ditka's point isn't arguable. There's no place where acting like Bryant did is acceptable. Bryant getting upset about his individual accomplishments being overshadowed by Johnson does nothing positive for the team. Can't imagine how anyone thinks it does.

Dez has seen this failure for 4 yrs now. He spent the week telling everyone how he was better than Johnson, then Johnson puts up one of the best games in history. That he would even make such a claim when he should be only concerned about winning an almost must-win game shows where his head is.

Romo was having trouble hitting anyone yesterday. He was terribly inaccurate, and his OL was worse than he was. But all of that aside, Dez acted like Keyshawn Johnson or Terrell Owens. It can only be each of our opinions since no one can get in his head, but I doubt we see any reaction like this at all from Bryant if we'd been blown out but he'd had 300 yds like Johnson.

The real problem is at the top. All these other things people argue about on here are really meaningless as long as there is no change in top management. There is no coaching hire nor player acquisition that can fix what is really wrong with the team.

Good point about him seeing it for 4 years and this being one of the rare times he has blown up. I agree there is probably some truth into him wanting to have a better game or show himself in the same ball park as CJ, but I guess in my mind, I like seeing the intensity from Bryant because our team has been lacking in it for so long. I'm tired of our veterans on this team, I'm tired of their non-chalant losing attitudes out there. Our oline had a somewhat off day but Romo was off against the Eagles, and Commanders, and now the Lions. I don't put much of this loss on our oline. Romo looked extremely lethargic out there yesterday. Was very slow to take his 3 steps back after hiking the ball. He has to be more consistent out there to give us a better chance of winning. Can't just show up in the 4th quarter. Late into the 3rd quarter he only had 88 yards passing. That is ridiculous against a horrible defense.

I agree with this for the most part, but there is no way to change who is at the top. We are pretty much doomed. I can see it now, we will win the division, get knocked out in the first game of the playoffs, get a last 12 pick in the first round of the draft, and get a first place schedule for next year, then get the same .500 team back out here.. with ALL of the veterans we still have. Then here the window is closing, we have to hurry up.
