Here is your link. Dallas wanted him. He wanted to bail and he did so to join the Eagles practice squad at the end of the 2008 season and then he joined their practice squad again in 2009. He was a baby after Dallas gave him time to develop and bulk up.

It all goes back to what I said the Cowboys didn’t want him. If they wanted them they would’ve signed him during the season which is why Amendola was reluctant. The Cowboys were dicking around.

I'll never get all the love for DA, sure hes a nice player. But in the pats O hes 4th sometimes 5th option. People act like we lost this all world WR that has torn up the league. We have two players right now that are just as good if not better than DA. Beasley/Switz Yeah Switz hasnt had a chance to show it yet but the potential is there.

There was no dicking around. They recognized Amendola wasn't ready his first season. He needed to gain weight and study NFL schemes. Wes Welker did the same. He wasn't ready his first season or 2. Cole Beasely wasn't ready his first season, either. Neither was Switzer. These smaller guys need a year in the weight room. They were putting in the time with him developing him for the long run. He bailed.

We dicked around and he saw a better opportunity. He caught 43 balls with the Rams in 09 that wasn’t going to happen with the Cowboys.

He didn't go straight to the Rams. He went to the Eagles practice squad. Twice. How is being on the Eagles practice squad different than being on the Cowboys practice squad? You keep ignoring those facts. You haven't even mentioned what Welker did with the Patriots because it proves your statement wrong about Amendola's stats are limited because of the position he plays.

He was with the Cowboys long enough to know it wasn’t going anywhere and he went over to Philly. He wasn’t there long before ending up with the Rams. Go watch the game. Lol

So you agree it was his decision to leave. That has been my point the whole time. Dallas didn't give up on him. He gave up on Dallas.

This game is over.

No, we don’t agree the Cowboys made the decision for him. We weren’t interested. This discussion is over.

That is grade A bs. He left because he was a baby. It was all his decision. He turned his back on the team that was giving him a chance and not forcing him to produce immediately and giving him time to develop. He didn't go to a better situation sitting on the Eagles practice squad. The reason he hasn't produced big numbers in his career is that he isn't as good as Wes Welker. Or Juilian Edleman, either.

Quick! Find every player that is remotely successful that used to play in Dallas and make a thread about it complaining about them not being in Dallas anymore!

Jimmy Smith is a better one to bring up. Unlike Amendola, he was the primary in Jacksonville and didn't have the GOAT throwing him the ball. As I recall, the reason we cut him was Jerry got his panties twisted up over his leg injury.
