Somebody will fall to 12

I think there’s a very good chance 1 of Bain, Bailey or Downs are on the board at 12.

3 QB- Mendoza, Moore, Simpson
1 RB- Love
3 WR- Tate, Tyson, Lemon
1 TE- Sadiq
2 OL- Fano, Mauigoa
1 Edge- Reese
1 CB- Delane

That’s 12 guys with a high probability of going top 11
Is Reese an edge or LB at next level. That's the biggest question

Exactly.......don't wanna get caught up in Styles media attention and overdraft. Especially if we can draft Hill or Allen and get the same production with a late 1st or early 2nd.
Allen may be LB by time process gets to draft time.

Safeties fall every draft but I don't think Downs will fall to 12th pick.

I like Bailey more than most and would love for him to slide.

I think somebody will covet him higher than anticipated. Solid tape, great Orange bowl film, 6"3 250 etc.
Bailey is going in the top 10. Especially if he has a good combine/pro day.

If Oregon ends up losing this game, I have a feeling Dante Moore will end up staying.
I know the kid has a high ceiling, but I haven’t seen the big deal with Moore to be a top five pick.

If you’re projected top five you go. Jeanty was the sixth pick last year and got a 30+ million dollar rookie contract.

You guys do know that draft nicks mocks are much different then NFL scouts opinions of players. Lots of you guys think Simpson is a late first round or second round pick. I bet he is a top 10 pick, especially the way Nix has played for Denver.

4 qbs available and 5 teams need a qb.

Pass rushers come from scheme. Seattle doesn’t have a great individual pass rusher but the scheme rushers using slants and games. Micah really spoiled us because of his early success but young lineman take time. Faulk is 20 years of age. Team him up with Clowney I think we might have something.
Good Post, you can get pressure with power and speed off the edge.

Shoot, at 12, take Caleb Downs and call it a day.

Yeah, yeah, safety isn't a premium position. But I'm trying to improve the defense and win in '26.

Caleb Downs is Josh Downs cousin. I was a big Josh Downs fan before the draft..he'd be great in Dallas. Anyway, they are very similar as far as elite technique and fundamentals.
I would love to have the best safety in the draft and Caleb Downs is. Especially when both Hooker and Wilson need replaced, draft Downs and pair him with a top free agent safety and get better quick.

Interesting comp.

Here’s the glaring difference between the two:

Nix literally holds the NCAA record for most games started with 61 (vs. Simpson’s 15 starts).

Nix also had 1,936 college pass attempts. Simpson has just 523.

That said, I hope he does go Top 20 as it will help our draft.

I am not comparing there stats they are much different players. I am pointing out most draft nicks had Nix as a second round pick. You never know what NFL teams think. By the way Simpson’s father is a college football head coach and stated the reason why his son is going to the draft is because he has been told by NFL scouts his son is a first round pick.

Sonny Styles is another guy who has a better chance of being there at 12 than Downs does. Styles could be the pick. Huge upgrade for us either way. Hopefully one of them is there.
