I can't remember a game in which I held less hope of winning. Maybe all the way back to 1989.

Injuries:

Offense

Romo
Witten
F. Jones
Kosier

Defense

Newman
Henry
UO Williams
Spencer

That is 8 impact players. And, I am probably forgetting someone.

Please tell me how we have a chance this week against the Giants. Especially with Johnson under center.

I am not going to tell you that...I think the defense will show up...but will eventually crumble under an inept offense and special teams

It would be nice if we could sneek out a victory this seek. We could go into the bye seek ready to make our run over the last seven seeks.

And if you believe we have hope this week, you probably also believe the next President will fix the economy, give everyone health care, win both wars within 6 months, balance the budget and find a cure for herpes. Not going to happen....:lmao2:

Seriouldy, our best shot is to force Sheli into some really bad throws for ints deep in their own end.

fortd,

The answer is simple..With Romo out the defense is going to HAVE to continue playing the way it did against Tampa or better. The team is too loyal to players who suck like Brad Johnson. The coaching staff is a bunch of coddling tools at this point. You play the players who fit in your scheme. The offense is taylored around Romo. BJ is the opposite of Romo. Why they kept him instead of getting another Romo-style backup is beyond me. Bollinger might be the guy but I don't think we can clearly state what he can do in our offense. I think he's probably had enough time to learn enough to start one game by now....

Don't get me wrong, I think the Giants are a good team...... I just don't think they are near great. If you contain Jacobs in the first qtr and don't give them anything you have a good chance.

But I also think if we play mistake free ball (turnoverwise) and our D plays like it did this week we have a good chance of winning.

The Cowboys with Romo and that D I saw yesterday will win the NFC east with or without a win on Sunday.

All of last week Zoners were saying that the Cowboys were going to get demolished by the Bucs. Some Zoners were predicting a blow out, they said this was the beginning of the end of our season. Some were even saying that Jeff Garcia was going to frustrate us with his scrambling but our D-Line pretty much kept him in check.

This game looks gloomy as well but I believe that our team is good enough to overcome adversity to keep us afloat until some of our big time players return back to our offense and defense.

GO COWBOYS!

lmao! who said I played QB or not?? I, like 99% of the non-HOMERs can see that Brad Johnson SUCKS. I don't support a player totally just because they have a star on their helmet. I try to be more objective than that. Don't get me wrong, I'll root for them but I'm not afraid to criticize if they don't play well.

We have no shot with Brad Johnson.

He isn't accurate over 5 yards.
