No, I just disagree with what you're saying,

this is pretty much more of what Jerry's always done, I mean he thought he was doing the very best job he could and it failed... they treated free agency the same they treated the draft the same they roll the dice and it failed this year, sometimes you can fill enough holes in the draft and with cheap free agents but nothing could make up for the over 18 injuries we had most of which were multiple weeks if not more than three to five games or out for the season you can't make up for that...

On his attitude and demeanor,

wouldn't you be more angry if you had higher hopes for the season I'm right out of the gate you get your *** handed to you like 3 out of the first five games and then you start losing all your starters and then they start criticizing you, mocking you, making fun of you ,putting up poster hate boards, sure you'd react a little more poorly the whole fire the GM that he was being questioned at every point this is the most blowback he's had to experienced in a long time.... So I think there's good reason why he seems different is because it's been a while since he had this bad a season for just about everything didn't work out very few bright spots and now he has to go into an offseason and figure out his entire coaching staff before the offseason starts and he's uncomfortable with change..

So was Jerry grumpier, I'm sure he was because we were all more grumpy, I'm pretty sure this place by far got the worst demeanor I've ever seen right from the Green Bay loss in the playoffs, and it just got worse and snowballed and I've never seen a more negative place in my life from an alleged fan site...

No doubt I'd be angrier, but his entire demeanor seems off. His Jerryisms seem to be less sensible than normal. I'm concerned for him as a person. I'm not using this OP as a way to bash him. I'm using it as a way to express concern for him.

Well that might be true but he has a huge family and a lot of friends and people that are with him everyday if it was a big concern I think they'll handle it.. And it will not get out to the media until it's really bad they will make sure at all costs it stays private but I'm wondering how many outtakes it took because he seemed awful content doing that little scene and it he did it pretty well in land man I mean he was pretty much his self in that I mean depending on if they had to use cheat cards I don't know but it seemed pretty smooth to me so whatever it is you might be going through might just be starting one of this is not up to me to escalate but it's not at its worst.

Speculation is a bad thing we don't know what's going on with the man he has plenty of people that are close to him that'll handle it if so. But when you're expressing your concern for somebody that's not reading this it's not really gonna do much like I said I'd be in a bad mood too I mean this place put me in a bad mood I mean this was a just truly really bad year from the playoffs and then just escalated into nothing but negativity so yeah I mean if his attitude is a reflection of the season we're all feeling the same way..

Jerry isn't getting any younger -- (and his mood swings speak loudly to that notion.)
It appears to me that his inconsistency is fairly indicative of his rotting brain! :omg:

Of course, being somewhat prehistoric in age, myself, I can identify with that state!

Congratulations on completely missing the point of this thread. My point isn't so much about his management style. It's more about his overall demeanor. The way he ran the team this year is more of a symptom of a deeper issue I'm noticing about him. He seems different overall with the way he's approaching people, and my point is that I think something seems off about Jerry as a person compared to before.
I would disagree that Jones is actually acting notably different than he has before. And that it just *feels* that way because he is being scrutinized more closely by more people finally and fully acknowledging he is completely out of his depth as a GM.

He’s getting older which just means naturally he’s not as quick witted as he used to be, and he’s made a lot of mistakes and taking more heat than ever before (not nearly enough) and he doesn’t like being criticized. He’s a billionaire with a massive ego who can longer win over the room with a wink and smile because we are entering decade number 3 without any real success.

The act is tired. The not taking real accountability is tired.
His line of B.S. is not fooling everyone. He is exposed and he knows he does not have the answers required to build a championship team.

Maybe, but some of his remarks and the way he's talking to the media of late seems different.

That's probably valid

I do not know. He has been saying stuff throughout the years that have mirrored what he has said during the past year. I think some folks have tried putting Jones out of their minds as much as they can over the years.

Some of that can be blamed on the media not continually questioning him--especially media representatives like Stephen A. Smith, who is his occasional buddy-buddy helicopter passenger. He has compounded the current perception by, all of a sudden , joining in on the extra criticism Jones has been receiving. Playing tough guy out of the blue. He is as pathetic as Jones.

I don't know either. I can only go on what I have seen before, what people like SAS and others who know him have said, and what I am noticing now. And, to me, things do seem.... different about Jerry.

Okay, i should clarify that he seems to behave similar to a narcissist. That said, something feels different about him.
No - no reason to backtrack or clarify. You were right and you do not have to be a behavioral expert to know he is an absolute narcissist believing he is right about everything while ignoring his incessant failures.

Something feels.... different about Jerry. I can't quite tell what it is. I know he's a narcissist and all, but he just feels a bit off. Like, previously, he would just annoy me with his decision making, but he was at least funny. He at least kept an appearance that he was trying to win. As aggravating as the losing had been, there was still some entertainment from the team and from him. When I could understand his Jerryisms, there was usually a nugget of wisdom or what he said was quite funny. Now, since the Green Bay loss, something feels.... different.

The way he approached the offseason. The way he talked at the tc press conference. The way he approached the Dak and CeeDee deals. The way he's treated Mike, and the way he is currently treating Mike when it came to the Chicago situation. The entire season and the way he is still behaving feels a bit more akin to when he rage traded Amari Cooper. I can seldom understand what he says/his Jerryisms anymore, and, even when I can, they just seem much more rage induced or petty. Quite plainly, he seems meaner and angrier than normal.

Has anyone else noticed this?
..Russ, I think he's going to start sending bonus checks to CZ. He knows WE work hard, with our opinions. ;)..
