Exactly......Remember earlier this season, he snapped at a reporter, saying he had been doing this sh__ for over 30 years ( not exact words but ). When I read that, I first thought that it sounded like something said to the family trying to convince him of something he disagrees with.

I didn't think of it that way at the time, but it would make sense. Not to mention the call where he snapped at The Fan. I'm thinking either there's internal fighting (and Stephen is probably receiving the brunt of it since he's the heir to the Cowboys, so he's probably got the most say in that family besides Jerry) or he's angry because his doctors are telling to step aside.

He's clearly a narcissist. I'm sorry that it hurts your feelings for people to call out the blatantly obvious.

You don't have to be a meteorologist to tell that it's raining outside.
No hurt feelings here at all budd. It’s the people such as yourself that seem to be doing all of the crying on this board. You people are all depressed, embarrassed, ashamed, it’s dark times etc. The foolishness never ends.

Nothing‘s different, same old Jerry, it just was a horrible season so the people that hate him just hate him more. The guy has given us so many winning seasons, just not a championship. He could give us a championship and it’s still not his fault. “ Example Jim Johnson. They did it as a team did Jerry get credit, lol

They talk out of their behind, better keep it clean! Lol
He'll probably get all butt hurt.
I never experienced someone miserable people. if someone starts a thread and if it isn’t deplorable or hating on someone, they don’t respond. You have to hate to acquire likes we know who does that.
The old fan forum. Everyone would gang up on the hater. It’s like go away, devil, and they would leave. Here it’s like they live for it.

I used to claim Jones had Narcissistic Personality Disorder but eventually stopped (and stated I was wrong) because his personality traits are not that severe. That said, I did continue stating (in my very unprofessional opinion, lol) that Jones is a narcissist--for which there are a multitude of varieties.

Anyone can meet some criteria for narcissism but not all and still be one. There have always been a significant segment of human society defined by the characteristic.

I am not certain why some people categorically deny Jones is one. I would surmise many deniers are no more qualified to dismiss him as one as those who do.

My guess is the denial is the tendency of equating another person with those we are familiar with in our lives. Well. Jones may seem like that 'crazy' grandfather or uncle many of us grew up with. Someone who had an eccentric personality but was not necessarily narcissistic.

Unfortunately, that alternative description does not fit Jones. It never has. There are too many examples of his behavior. Simply having a big ego or being a crazy uncle type does not explain why, an individual remained adamant in keeping his decades old, college teammate and friend, OUT of the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. Not only that, TELLING his old buddy year after year that he would do it and proceed to not do it. And that example was of a person demonstrating the trait LOOOOOONG before anyone said he was old and/or senile.

As soon as Jerry put him in the ring of honor, the next season we failed jinxed. Lol.

Something feels.... different about Jerry. I can't quite tell what it is. I know he's a narcissist and all, but he just feels a bit off. Like, previously, he would just annoy me with his decision making, but he was at least funny. He at least kept an appearance that he was trying to win. As aggravating as the losing had been, there was still some entertainment from the team and from him. When I could understand his Jerryisms, there was usually a nugget of wisdom or what he said was quite funny. Now, since the Green Bay loss, something feels.... different.

The way he approached the offseason. The way he talked at the tc press conference. The way he approached the Dak and CeeDee deals. The way he's treated Mike, and the way he is currently treating Mike when it came to the Chicago situation. The entire season and the way he is still behaving feels a bit more akin to when he rage traded Amari Cooper. I can seldom understand what he says/his Jerryisms anymore, and, even when I can, they just seem much more rage induced or petty. Quite plainly, he seems meaner and angrier than normal.

Has anyone else noticed this?
the heat and constant negativity about him and everythin being his fault in the media is starting to get to him a little bit.
which is actually bad, because he is going to feel desparate to prove everyone wrong and is going to do some bat **** crazy stuff.
he will make one big FA signing to just prove he will spend and that he is going to make the team better.
no real good coach is going to come here, because everyone in the NFL knows his reputation by now and nobody wants to work with him. this explains why he is trying to keep MM around, because of familiarity.

a desparate man with money is a dangerous man. he is looking more and more like Al Davis than anything else. Al Davis made no sense in his last few years.

lol. The jinx was never being squashed by Jimmy Johnson's induction into the Ring of Honor. The actual jinx was created by the hissy fit that ended with Jerry Jones and him parting ways professionally.

Something much stronger is needed to exorcise it. Where's a good voodoo doll when a person really needs one? :p

He’s getting testy and angry because media and fans are really starting to call him out.

It’s practically come to a boiling point in Dallas.
This is what it is. Jerry is no longer the master salesman. Sure, there are still those that blindly follow/hang on every word but times are changing for Jerry and he does not like it.

I think its because he's taking heat like never before from Fans and Media and its smearing his name in the mud so he's hot under the collar to some extent. he's older yes he does want to win but not at the cost of his pocket book.

It has been 30 years of this stuff. People like their football. Having no hope gets to the best of us.
