I disagree. They may have thought about it when Watkins was available, but that's no longer the case.

So, at this point, there are few, if any, options to replace Bryant.

If the plan was to replace him, that ship has sailed.
I think they thought if they could add Watkins speed across from Dez they’d have something there
He got huge money so plan didn’t happen
I had that same thought
Watkins is not a one but like Alvin Harper his speed could have helped a one

With the recent news that Dallas tried to sign Sammy Watkins..

and failed..

WR obviously is a top priority for us.

This is a clear intimation DEZ is going to be cut.

What do you guys think?

Only if they acquired an adequate replacement. Those types have already been signed. Only other option would be to trade for a starter. Your best bets would be the likes of Martavios Bryant and Desean Jackson. No thanks.

I dont think it means Dez is going to be cut...I think its even more confirmation that WR might be the #1 target in the draft.

I think I'm having an issue with intimation. Like what is it?

Sounds like you have your own answer to the question before you asked it. Again, I'll respectfully disagree.

This team would be taking a huge step backwards replacing Bryant with any rookie. Given the makeup of the rest of the team, and it's coaches, I don't see them wanting to do that.

If you wanted to cut Bryant and replace him with what you felt was a comparable player? Ok, but a rookie receiver is not that. The team would be going backwards.
Hahaha..

Hey..

Around here you better have your answer in mind before hand.

You know?

The team is having him in again on a visit I understood.

We will see.

I think it's more likely than most people think, but there are moving parts.

That school of thought only matters if Dez is still the old Dez. If he's a has been anyone can replace him. He may be somewhere in between.

We need a veteran WR who could help the cohesiveness of the WR corps. I don’t see Dez being able to fill that role.

I’ll feel much better if two foots are involved.

A guy I trust that is semi in the Cowboys circle told me Stephen Jones is really tired of Dez' general antics and sideline behavior during games and wants him gone.

I think it's a mistake, but I'm not there everyday.
