The Feds will follow any paper-trail on this whole thing.
It seems to me that the Feds have something on Vick in that it shows he paid for or bought equipment for this dogfighting ring. I also think others have named Vick or put him at the dog-fights. His cousin not being named may mean that he is the Feds nark in all of this.
In hearing the details that went on at this house it makes me sick to my stomach to imagine those type of things.
I mean killing dogs because they wont fight...and the way they killed them.
Horrendous!
Here's a quote by him.
As federal agents take action by moving in to do
their own search of the Surrey County property owned by
Michael Vick, the cousin of the
Atlanta Falcons quarterback is stepping forward to accept responsibility. But it's not really clear what he is accepting responsibility for.
Davon Boddie, who lived on the property under investigation for dog fighting, had this to say to the
Daily Press:
"I want him (Goodell) to know that everything going on is really my fault," said Boddie. "I want to apologize to Atlanta Falcons fans for what's going on. It's a lot of drama."
Contrast that to this.
Davon Boddie, cousin of Atlanta Falcons quarterback
Michael Vick, is watching his world crumble before his very eyes. As more and more evidence is discovered, the deeper his grave, and his cousin grave, is dug. With
more than 30 dog carcasses having been discovered on Vick's Virginia property, Boddie and Vick are now facing some serious criminal charges and a possible prison sentence.
Boddie has repeatedly said he had
no knowledge of any dog fighting that went on, but now he's taken it a step further. Not only does he claim this is all news to him,
he actually believes that this is some sort of conspiracy. During an
interview with WAVY TV 10, he actually dares to hint that the original 66 dogs were planted by police.
