Thats actually pretty good but I cant give you a like outa respect to TR.

Thanks man. I'm not ragging on either but trying to keep a sense of humor about the situation. I like both a lot and am a GIANT Romo fan.

I'm gonna say this and some of you may not like it. But if Romo doesn'tcome back til midseason and Dak has this team at 7-1 or even 6-2 and has the offense running like a well oiled machine, Romo's days as the starting QB for Dallas are over.....unless Dak gets hurt. This kid adds another dimension to this already powerful offense. I have a gut feeling he's going to be special.

I'm not sure what you were watching but he was going down. He did not see the player behind him. He did what he was supposed to do.
He was running out of the pocket when he could have just took the loss in my opinion. I know he's a baller but I prefer to have him playing. Tony doesn't have too many opportunities left. The gamble wasn't worth it and it's never worth it at this point in his career. I want him on the field as much as possible. He's 36!!!

Babe, we'll agree to disagree on this one. He had to make a move to avoid getting hit before he ran to an open spot in order to get down.

However, yes, I agree he needs to start throwing the ball away much sooner and getting down faster. I think he knows it too, now.

When I look back at all of the circumstances that has lead us to this point where we have a rookie QB starting the season for us it just seems destined. I was at our weekly men's bible study last night, and as we were dispersing the "can Dak do it" conversation came up. I begin to tally the circumstances that lead to the present situation and concluded it is destined that he succeeds. The organization attempted not once but twice to draft a QB before him, yet here he is. The team was content on making him the third string QB this season, that is until the second string QB unfortunately was lost to a season ending injury. This mishap propelled Dak into the second string role giving him the opportunity to get first team reps in practice and preseason game action, invaluable. Now here he is with the ultimate opportunity to start at QB for the first few games. This isn't a he is going to replace Romo thread, I'm still holding hope that Romo returns and lead this team to a Super Bowl before he rides into the sunset, yet I can't help but consider the circumstances that have placed Dak in the situation he is in and think to myself we may be in for something good.

Nah, he could have thrown it away. He didn't need to try to extend the play because it's preseason.

No he doesn't, he will never learn that. If he hasn't by now, he will not learn it and will go out again. It is a self repeating pattern.

Yep. By now Tony should have known to toss it away and live to fight another day. But he didn't and never will. He's one of those guys that, when he gets on the field, can't give less tan 110%. He shouldn't have been in the game to begin with in my opinion.

I would LOVE for him to be Romo's heir. It does seem interesting that things seemed to have aligned just right for him. If Romo were a D-bag, I wouldn't care if he came back but he is not. The best case scenario in my opinion is that Dak handles things well until Romo returns and they go to the SB and win it. Dak continues to develop and Romo retires at the end of next season with another SB. Dak steps in and there is ZERO steps lost due to QB transition. Do I think that's going to happen? I guess it's technically possible, but I will make no predictions either way. I'm just kind of tired of Romo having bad luck.

Go to the SB and win it? :lmao::lmao2:

Yes, if Dak wins by that significant of a margin, then they will just say that Romo needs more time to completely recover.

Something told me that when I snuck into my bedroom with my HS sweetheart at age 16.
Aah that bring back memories of girlfriends sneaking out of their bedroom window while I parked down the street and waited...
