Something that Dak doesn't do that would help him alot

I'll never understand why he didn't pay Romo to be qb coach. I think Romo was instrumental in daks rookie year success

Totally agree when Dak had guys with experience on the sideline to coach him up he was more consistent

Why doesn't Dak step up in the pocket and avoid about half of these sacks? Is it just me or does he seem to always go back during the rush? I swear these coaches are just not teaching him the little things that would make a big difference. I don't think Garrett is going anywhere but lord we need a QB coach.........

Because the Cowboys are playing with a backup Center and a LG obtained from the scrap heap.

I saw a lot of Mississippi state games when Dak was a senior when they went on that huge run to become the #1 team in the nation. I thought the OLine just flat out sucked because he would get crushed on just about every play and I never saw him step up in the pocket. I'm beginning to think he just doesn't feel comfortable doing that. Just like everything else in life Dak has his pros and cons.
Everything has cons?

What about BEER!!

When he thinks he’s under duress he takes his eyes off of the field and looks at the rush and shuffles backwards
Ive noticed that too! Dak is best when he knows where he is going with the ball right away. These coaches need to work on reading defenses and quick timing routes but Dak doesnt like to throw the ball until his WR gets open. He is getting better but I think thats just because Cooper is much better than I thought!

the glitch. Maybe Moore can come out in the huddle and stay on the field and hold Dak's had when he gets pressure so he doesn't get scared again. Like he said about the Atlanta game.

Again, why does Collins get a pass from fans when it’s obvious he’s backslid and responsible for so much of the pressure? I don’t get it.
Collins is on skates half the time out there. I wouldn’t be opposed to either trading him or moving him back to LG and put Williams at his RT position. He’s the weak line by far and away.

I guess Doug Free wasn’t that bad after all.

He doesn't know how AND/or he isn't being coached how to do it, when to do it, etc.

Stepping up would help, but it would be a lot easier of the line could just make a clean pocket.

WE do need better coaching, but what we need is better Oline play.

Its funny how everything you just said was in regards to pressure by the line. Yet you completely failed to make that easy connection to the Oline.

I would like to think that Kellen Moore has taught Dak that. Moore is not dumb by any means. A coach can only coach, a player has to take in what has been coached and put it into action on the field of play. No way do I believe Kellen Moore hasn't told Dak to step up in the pocket.

Poor Doug Free.

I’m not even sure Collins is an upgrade at OG at this point. I’m pretty happy with Sua-Filo

A lot of things the coaches can do. They can train him to step up into the pocket. They can run play action, bootlegs, RPO, quick slants, 3 step drops.

All of these mentioned plays are things that other teams use to neutralize pressure. We hardly do none of that.

Thus we have the worst offensive coaches in the league. They have no clue how to coach Dak up. And they have no clue on how to use Dak at all.
