Given the Hurns signing, and what now looks to be a crowded receivers room, is is a possibility that either Williams, Beasley, or both might be involved in some measure of a trade?

Would a team like Seattle, who have lost a few in the past two years, have in interest in either one of these guys?

This article brings up some good points.

Man,I just can't envision ##11,83 being traded, those are my thoughts, yet BEASLEY did kinda kick against the yoke in some tweets briefly last year like he wasn't a happy camper.

Would you trade for those guys?

If I'm looking for cheap receiver options I wait Dallas out. Someone is going to be available for nothing.

I like having a talented wr corpse than have multiple weapons that can go off. We haven’t had that since Laruant Robinson left but that year we Damm near had 3 1000 yard receivers.

It certainly seems like we have too many WR's at this point. I would be shopping Beasley to anyone and everyone, the same with Williams. Would love to get some more draft picks even if they aren't till next year.

If we were to get anything of value in return in a trade, I think it would be for Beasley. Or Dez, but according to all reports Dez is staying

I just dont see Dallas dumping Dez.....yet.
next year...VERY possible.
This season....dont think so.
But TWill.....I think Hurns is a threat to his spot.
Dont know if Seattle takes him and a pick for Thomas.....BUT TWill to a team like.....Az.....who has no WRs.....for a pick.
I could see that.

Beasley to NE......watch.

Despite a down season I don’t see Beasley going anywhere. He’s one of our best chain movers especially on third down. Switzer did nothing at receiver so the jury is still out on him. You can’t move on from Beasley and bank on Switzer or someone else taking over.

Receptions producing first downs in 2017:

Dez 44
Williams 31
Witten 26
Beasley 20

I could see both Williams and/or Beasley being part of a draft day trade. And I’m with a few others, I could see Seattle involved in some matter.. both Receivers have very reasonable contracts. If a team wants an established WR that will definitely contribute this year, Dallas has two to choose from. Nobody is going to take on Dez’s contract. Hopefully, we can get vet Safety out the deal (like Earl Thomas) and concentrate on OL, LB, or DT. I’m good with Dez, Hurns, Switzer, Thompson, Brown, Lenoir, etc.. maybe add another late round steal if available. This draft is suppose to be deep at Wr anyway

Personally I think Beasley is the odd man out. Here are my reasonings.

Dez not going anywhere
Hurns just signed

Switzer was drafted last year. Can play outside, slot, special teams, return man

Thompson just signed as well, has speed and can return kicks.

Noah Brown can line up in the outside, was our best blocking receiver last season.

Williams has big play ability although last season he regressed. Has some speed. We only get 1 million by cutting or trading him. His worth is more for the Cowboys then getting rid of especially in a 4th receiver role.

Beasley plays slot only. Has return points only for fair catch and isn't a threat in the return game. Getting rid of Beasley by trade or cut brings almost 4 million.

As you see Beasley is the only one that cant play multiple spots and doesn't bring any value on special teams. Not only that but gives us better money on the cap.
