Summerall was always a classy commentator. I would pay for him to still be calling games instead of some of these other clowns.

I always liked Verne Lundquist (when he was doing the Cowboy games).

Loved hearing games called by either one. They were both gifted announcers.

Somebody had mentioned Pat Summerall doing the game today for FOX.

Tomorrow's game fo us has a playoff feel, and while Summerall wont be doing that game, we can enjoy this and hope for similar results. I think this is the best intro to a sports event on TV ever:

Nice ! I could listen to Summerall read the phone book.

If he did read the phone book, he would still manage to screw up a few names. Still my favorite announcer though.

I watched the cotton bowl as well and left with 2 primary thoughts.

Summerall used to be the best ever

Our filed turf is simply beautiful. Such a drak green blade with the lines and logos popping off bigtime.
