You don’t recruit players in the NFL. How is this even close to being the same? TCU has the benefit of being in a hot bed of football in the DFW area and big money from B12 TV contracts.

Dykes has turned TCU into a Powerhouse his first year without a top recruiting class and very little portal transfers.
There's no draft in college.

You can count on one hand the number of college coaches without any NFL experience that were very successful in the NFL. Johnson was the last. Since him many have tried and failed miserably.

Yep. Many here were salivating over Matt Ruhle. How did he work out?

I like Dykes, but he’s custom made to be at TCU for quite awhile.
