I just want to hear Berman's highlights again when Ty Law has a pick.

~singing~ "Jason Campbell fought the Law and the Law won!"

He is forever linked to us it seems. Nice job Nors.

We could trade Coakley for him.

In all honesty, what's your stance?

Are you a 'yay or a 'nay'?

Clear nay. He's too old and once Newman is back and if Pacman is reinstated we have no room for him. Better to cinch the belt at this point and go to work with the rooks.

But we could always release Ball. I just don't feel like he has much to contribute. It would be different if we would have kept oglesby.

That should be a capital 'if' about Pacman. He may never suit up for the Cowboys again.

And Newman may be back in a month, but this injury wasn't supposed to be as bad as it turned out to be either. At this point I don't know how much Newman can be counted on either.

I'd take Law's experience over Allan Ball for sure, there's some 'room'.

LAW INTERESTED IN PACKERS, COWBOYS

Posted by Mike Florio on October 16, 2008, 5:06 p.m.
Though cornerback Ty Law is talking to the Dolphins, he’s apparently interested in several teams. But he prefers to play for a contender.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Law would be interested in joining the Packers or the Cowboys, both of which have injury problems at the cornerback position.
“I can walk in now and play on Sunday,” Law said. “I just want to go out and play ball. I’ve been training to play, I’m ready to play, and I want to go play.”
Other teams that have shown some interest in Law over the course of the past several months include the Browns, Patriots, and Jets.

Does he have anything left? I haven't seen him play in a long time.

sign law move henry to safety?

;)

Could be a possible move, it would probably be more effective to move henry to safety after T-new gets back.

I want to see what Scandrick and Jenkins can do for at least a couple of weeks here. It will let us know if we can safely let Henry go next year. My guess is even with Jenkins and Scandrick out there, teams will continue to go after Henry.

Law for his leadership and work ethic would be good for our young CB's to see versus Pacmadness, and he could go Safety in pinch. He'd be a great center fielder in nickel dime packages.

Destiny and a 4th ring - I'd love Ty to get it here. Law is a hard working Pennsylvania kid with proven experience and carries a swagger/leadership our defense has never really had.

For what he lost in a step he can make up for knowing where to be.

if we could get him for cheap he would be good to teach the rookies. but if the pats don't want him something is up. but than again him and Greg Ellis could teach our crappy secondary how to intercept passes

Come on. Who are you going to cut to make room for an old vet? It's do or die with the players on the 53.

Play who we have and try some new schemes--give the kids a chance, show some confidence until they prove otherwise

Are you terribly fond of Allan Ball?
