Sorry Jason Garrett

Gase didn't have Russell Wilson, Courtland Sutton, and Jerry Jeudy. Hackett is extracting less from provable talent than Gase could ever dream of. It's remarkable.
Sutton and Jeudy are extremely overated. They are a big reason why the Broncos offense is terrible.

Honestly, what have they done in the NFL?

Answer: nothing.

why? garrett sucked 10 years of your life away, and you ain't getting it back.

Hackett may be the worst HC I’ve seen in a while. Absolutely moronic decisions.

Garrett wasn’t nearly as bad as Hackett, Gase or Mr Big Suit Ben Macadoo
lets call like it is,

it a GM /owner issue they keep picking bad HCs and overpay qbs..they believe the QB can overcomes bad coaches. how about on the other side, the GM of the colts keeps going after washed up vet qbs, cant draft and develop one, id say its the GM..

those that have been overly critical of dak, Romo and Jerry need to take real hard look because Garett was not that bad at all. he simply wasn't great but using bad terrible and stink was far from the actual truth.

theres pages of bad coaches that would be named before Garett amongst actual football people vs fans if you believe this place MM sux now everyone sux in the fans eyes..hot seat LMAO

all those years with Garett, now MM gets 2 years and you want him GONE! that was all offseason talk post 9er game..MM has done more with less in 2 yrs and 5 games then most coaches could. He hasn't had much luck with healthy rosters since day 1..year he had a healthy team 12-5 but hey he sux get rid of him..they wany Payton , even though paytons and out the same coach in every aspect.

fans are fickle and seldom WRONG..

Just before Tom Landry was fired, he and Tex Schramm had a falling out because Tex hired a coach without Landry's consent. That coach was Paul Hackett, Nathaniel Hackett's father.

4th and 1 in overtime, well within field goal range, and they try passing. Wow..
not new RW and Pete SB INT at the goal line with Beast mode in the backfield. Same shizzle, different year, coaches can make bad decisions in the heat of the moment.

The guy has already worn out his welcome in Denver, he signed a 4 year deal and just on his first year. Pleas for Payton to come and already save them, LOL......There will be lots of pressure as the season goes to fire him especially after the FO also making a double blunder with the large contract to Wilson. Who got a $124m guaranteed at signing.....and $161m total guarantees.............WOWWZAA........
The new ownership group has decisions, decisions. Hackett was the hot commodity last year. Doesn't look like being a head coach was his forte, at least not at this point. Wilson has regressed after being made wealthy beyond his dreams. Feel sorry for their fan base some what.

But Hackett has the "elite" Russell Wilson. How is it Wilson is not to blame? When Garrett had the best two QB's since Aikman in Romo & Prescott, those two were to blame & not Garrett?! o_O

Russell Wilson was clearly on the decline before last season which is why Seattle moved on from him. Check out his numbers from last season. Entering last nights game he had the lowest passer rating of his career. It’s looking like Denver made a big mistake trading for him and paying him all that money. They were hoping for lightning in a bottle twice by bringing in another veteran QB that had a Super Bowl win but Peyton Manning was still a great player when he arrived in Denver. He was only made available because of an injury not because of a decline in production.

Yes, it was the rookie Zeke behind the All Pro O line that gave the false impression he could coach.

Nice try to plug your guy though.
I had a difference response typed up but I’m going to be be an adult here. He’s not my “guy”. Which is odd because I’ve been accused of saying he sucks just to defend Dak but you’re clueless so it’s whatever.

At the end of the day he was a big part or getting Dak ready for that season and if you think all it takes to win is Elliott and a offensive line then you are more clueless then I thought.

Most of them inherited the very worst teams though. Not excusing their contributions to failure but I don't think any of them squandered nearly the talent that JG flushed.

JG did it over such a looooonnnngggg period of time too.

You weren't trying to insinuate that Dak was the driving force in 2016? If you can honestly answer no, then I withdraw my comment.

Clueless? Nah, I'm right way too often.

I don't think that is proven. In fact, I think Dak said Sanchez was his biggest asset in 2016. Yes, it has been proven that a great oline & running game can win a lot of games in the NFL.

Dang, people forgot about Adam Gase that quickly?

I mean most of us here hate Garrett (see user name), but the man won 2 playoff games. There are dozens upon dozens that never even got that far. Garrett, as bad as he was, was far from the worst of all time.
Garrett was not good at X’s & O’s, clock management or in game adjustments but he was a very good motivator and his players always played hard for him. Add all that up and you get a lot of 8-8 seasons. Far from the worst coach ever. Far from the best coach ever.

Jason Garrett was never the worst head coach

but he wasnt far from it imo.....he could motivate players and thats about it
