Sounds like Witten was referring to Dez

Witten knew Dez was not maximizing his potential.

He tried to lead him but I am sure in the end, it was frustrating for Witten.

I completely agree that just because someone is loud does not even the slightest make them a good leader.
But Witten added that the person may not put in the work, so that may exclude Dez….I thought he had a rep as a very hard worker.

Witten and Dez butt heads on the sidelines often. I'm sure that was not good for the team.
Definitely not. Not when #82 was the first one out there for drills during practice. The first one in the film room, etc, etc. Bryant? We saw him in All For Nothing which confirmed suspicions I always had about him since day 1. He relied on his natural ability and never put in the work needed. A cancer in the locker room.

Yeah, Dez was such a hard worker that he never bothered to learn how to run a route.

Didnt the mods already tell you Dez threads dont go in the fan zone, since you always want to tell everybody else about the posting rules

Sure. In the weight room, starting fights in practice with his own teammates, being late to meetings.

Just not hard at work with the technical aspects of his job, like running precise routes and being the reliable, go-to guy.

There’s a reason that Dez is not only not on this roster, but ANY NFL roster. Anyone who has watched Cowboys games know why. Whether they chose to admit it or not is a personal character issue.
