why would we trade for a jimmy and give up draft capital when this team is not close to a Super Bowl? What sense is it to bring in someone who can help us win 7,8 games but then lose in the first round or so again? Let’s play with who we have and develop the young talent we have on the team.

if we can get someone for really cheap to come in? Sure. Jimmy g is not gonna come for nothing. I’d rather get a top 10 pick added to this team than make a season saving trade only to fall short of doing anything significant and possibly even winning the division again.

Also, why would San Fran - who almost made the SB last season - trade Jimmy away when the jury is still out on Trey Lance?

They're not going to tank the season if Lance keeps struggling. The rest of their roster is too good - they'll go back to Jimmy.

I can't understand why Ben DiNucci wasn't kept on the practice squad. I had read that he had made alot of progress. And he looked better to me in the last preseason game than Rush or Grier.

Frankly, I'd either give Grier or DiNucci a try. We all know what we've got with Rush, and it's not much.

That depends partly on the decisions the QB makes. The O-line did a pretty good job most of the night. Had Dak made better decisions and better throws, he never would've been in the position he was in.

I rewatched that rush game from last year against the vikings. That was a hostile environment. That guy was slinging it, wasn't afraid and had over 100 passer rating. Im not saying he's the end all be all, but who knows maybe he can surprise a bit.

That was a road game in Minnesota. He played well. Granted he had a much better supporting cast.
