I rewatched that rush game from last year against the vikings. That was a hostile environment. That guy was slinging it, wasn't afraid and had over 100 passer rating. Im not saying he's the end all be all, but who knows maybe he can surprise a bit.

That was a road game in Minnesota. He played well. Granted he had a much better supporting cast.

Once teams get tape on you, it's harder to surprise.
They start game planning for your weaknesses.

I can't understand why Ben DiNucci wasn't kept on the practice squad. I had read that he had made alot of progress. And he looked better to me in the last preseason game than Rush or Grier.

I can tell you that if Zeke only gets 10 carries it won't matter how well he plays.

I imagine they are thinking of 2015, when they gave Weeden a chance and then switched to Cassel when he was ineffective. Cassel was actually worse.
They don't want to try anything too progressive!

God that was such a miserable season.
