No way, coaching the Falcons is far better than "coaching" the Skins. I live in the area and it is no secret here that Snyder wants a "coach" that will do and say what he wants. This guy is a business man and wants someone who would be good with media and sell tickets. That is why I think Steve Mariuci (sp) is going to be the best fit for him.BraveHeartFan;1946512 said:I'm not shocked by this move at all. I've said all along that I just didn't feel that Spags would take that crappy job. Why would he leave the G-Men who are champions this year (Rather you think it's luck, or skill, or whatever doesn't matter, they won it all) to take over a Commanders team that is a waste land thanks to the incredibly horrible job that Snyder does of managing the cap?
There is only two jobs that I'd like even less than the Skins and thats the Falcons and Raiders jobs.

Yep, that's what I heard too that Corey Webster told the Coaches at Halftime that T.O. wasn't has Explosive as before.ethiostar;1946450 said:I remember hearing right after the game that, by half time, the Giants realized that neither TO nor TG were healthy enough to demand double coverage so they started focusing on bringing as much pressure as possible on Romo.
That's just mean.Bach;1946462 said:

Posted by Mike Florio on February 7, 2008, 12:57 p.m.
Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that, as part of his decision to remain with the Giants, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is now expected to become the highest-paid defensive coordinator in the NFL.
The specific dollars have not yet been reported. Jason Garrett of the Cowboys is the highest-paid offensive coordinator, with a salary that some say is $3 million per year. We’ve heard that it’s more like $3.5 million or $4 million.
And Garrett and Spagnuolo have each spent only a single season as coordinators.

I bet he is worried, just as much as Wade is worried about his..khiladi;1946661 said:Tom must be worried about his job...

Ah, so you thought I was going to Washington now, eh? Oh, so you were just ready to pencil me in for the Head Coaching spot, huh? Remember a few weeks back when I told you I was happy in New York? Remember when I said I wouldn't take just any coaching job? Didn't believe me, did ya? Did ya? Huh? Oh I see, so now you're all saying I made the right decision to stay, huh? Okay, I see how it is. Huh.

The only thing worse then this would be Dallas winning the Super Bowl.
Bob Sacamano;1946783 said:nah nah nah boo boo
Well you're not alone. IMO, Fassel wouldn't be a bad hire. Mooch, OTOH, I'm not sure about. Trying to not hold his Detroit tenure against him.Chief;1946789 said:I realize I'm in the minority, but I don't see that Fassel would be that bad of a hire.
We're not talking Dave Campo as head coach.
Fassel has taken a team to the Super Bowl, which is more than any Cowboys coach has done in 12 years.
