Its the play where he was called for tripping. He was not tripping but the Lions player was tripping him. The stills are out there.
Yeah I finally saw it a couple of hours ago, I think the headline was "How the refs screwed the Cowboys before the Two Point Conversion"

I don't think so.

This is from the rule book: "Tripping is the use of the leg or foot to obstruct any opponent (including a runner)"

Seems to me if you don't obstruct, it is not a penalty. But for certain if you don't even try to trip it should not be a penalty!

I see nothing in the rule book about attempted tripping being a penalty. When I watched the play in slow motion it looks like Hendershot is holding. When I watch it full speed, I changed my mind.
Then explain what the official saw that made her throw the flag. No one actually tripped anyone. The only thing that happened is Hutchinson stuck his leg out after the RB had already passed him. There is either something fishy going on or she saw the extended leg and just got the players mixed up. I hope she didn’t actually think she saw someone get tripped and fall down.

“The NFL has not commented on the tripping call mistake as of Sunday morning.”

How does that equate to the officials admitting to anything? And yes, it was a blown call. Don’t hold your breath for a press conference though.

He is not supposed to be covered up if eligible. If he were, that would be illegal.

And there were 7 on the line.
The reciever wasn't on the line. I think 70 rumbled over there and said he was edible too and that's what they called.
