Maybe he's starting because he's better than the other guys behind him? I mean, that's what I'd think. Forget the #1 pick talk, new coaching staff should mean something.

As for what type of CB you get, if it's to get a 4th CB, that would be the dumbest trade the Cowboys could make. Similar to the Skins TJ Duckett trade from last year.

If there's a trade to be had, then you trade what you have a glut of for more depth at a position you're short. So where are the 'boys flush w/depth? Surely not DL, no matter what people think.

that's absolutely correct -- if first rounders get an automatic start then why would Spears start but Carpenter not?

If they do at sometime trade spears and get peanuts in return I will be very upset with this organization.

Kenyon coleman to me, is a better player than spears and they let him walk. They could have signed him for less than the jets gave him by signing him ahead of time and then moved spears in the offseason.

I dont think he is going anywhere though.
