Spears hurt already

I just read on a diffrent site forum that Spears hurt his knee today. No specific info yet. Cross your fingers

Parcells first thing he said today was spears twisted his knee and they think its his meniscus and he is getting it looked at right now and will have it taken care of today.....not sure if that means surgery or rest.

He said he is going to miss a few weeks...

Parcells just suggested putting Hatcher in that spot, but he doesn't want to experiment with him just yet. Wants to leave him at one spot before overwhelming him. Said he still has Coleman, Ratliff, and can maybe move Canty if necessary.

Well, one positive note is Parcells just said if it is the meniscus, he'd still expect Spears to get at least 3 preseason games. Doesn't seem too upset.

if he tore the meniscus he will need surgury, its not that bad of a surgury i had it twice took me two months to rehab...so egh thats a long time 8 weeks of game time, but with the NFL teams haveing THE best surgureons and rehabs i wouldn't doubt he get back faster
