Who's Not:
Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells and owner Jerry Jones might have lost one of their first-round draft choices for a considerable amount of time, after signing him to a five-year, $9.35-million deal with $6.7 million in guarantees just six days ago. That could be potentially a huge loss for a team trying to switch to a 3-4 defense because Spears had the versatility to play defensive end or slide over to the nose. He was expected to win the starting job at left end.

I agree. Stretching the ligaments as opposed to amputation is a much better way. I really think we shouldn't amputate his good leg just to avoid future injury.

ROFLMAO!

This has just been too good!

More food for thought:

When you lose a defensive linemen for the year and you're worried about how you're going to fill spots it doesn't make much sense to go back to a scheme that's even more dependant on defensive lineman, both in quantity and quality, than the one you're currently using.

I was kinda thinking the same thing myself, IR.

Let's make Coleman a 4-3 DE since he isn't nearly as good in that scheme. Yeah. Why would we want to keep Coleman at 3-4 DE when he's so good at it.

I could see people saying move back to 4-3 if it was Ware who got hurt...

Canty and Coleman are both better in a 3-4. The only DE we have who's better in a 4-3 is Ellis and he's doing fine in the 3-4.

wow...I wonder if we can get Kavika Pittman back. We are doomed.

That amputation took place several years ago........it's too late to sew it back on...... ;)

Ware would play RDE in the 4-3

Now that I think about it, there would still be the possibility of broken arms and whatnot. I really think we should give serious thought to disbanding the Cowboys franchise. Wheres ther petition

I'll sticky a petition.

How about we do two petitions? The other one for the removal of Spear's good leg... you know just to be on the safe side?

You know I'm still laughing over the one poster who thought amputation was a bit extreme.

That's exactly what I said at the beginning. Let Ware play as a DE.

He is the same size as the Freenys and Jason Taylors of the world. Letting Ware play RDE wouldn't hurt my feelings any

It does sort of put the amputation idea in perspective, doesn't it?

Maybe we could amputate Pittmans legs as a sacrafise to the leg gods in Spears' name?

Not good! I can relate with Pinkston. Just hope that Marcus Spears' injury isn't a season/career ending injury.

Speedy recovery to Marcus. These injuries mean that teams are hitting and hitting hard! Maybe the coaches need to pull back a little.

The funniest part was it was the same poster who brought up the idea that Spears may need amputation on his bad leg LOL

Thanks for your support and you should know we all blame TO and his agent for this happening
