I'd say (IF Spears is finished for the year) that we scrap the 3-4, put Ware at DE and have Burnett, Dat and Singleton (or Brady) at LB.

Probably even be a better defense actually.

I hate to see this happen to the kid...it sounds like surgery to me, but let's not all act like our season just went down the tubes like an injury to Bledsoe.

After all, the kid was a rookie DL, not projected as a serious pass rusher...yes, it hurts because we all hoped he'd be starting sometime this year, but even that was not a guarantee for a rookie. I feel worse for the kid than for the Cowboys...we sort of broke even with Canty expected to play this year after all.

Means more time and opportunities for Canty and Ratliff, along with Coleman.

If we had to have an injury to anyone, the truth is this was one of the deepest positions on the team this year...a starting LB, CB, or Roy? Adams or Witten or Bledsoe? Or one of our top two WR's? It could be much worse, all things considered.

But that would hurt Ware, WAre cant go against an OT every game, that would limit his effectivness, this isnt college, guys are bigger and stronger,i think we have good depth on LE/RE and we should be ok
