I'd say (IF Spears is finished for the year) that we scrap the 3-4, put Ware at DE and have Burnett, Dat and Singleton (or Brady) at LB.

Probably even be a better defense actually.

So we lose spears and just scrap the 3-4? Coleman was running with the 1st team anyways and from reports has been doing great. One article said he might keep Spears off the field longer than people think.

If he is gone it will be a big lost but no reason to switch back to 4-3.

Exactly, Glover is a 5 time Pro Bowler at DEFENSIVE TACKLE. You don't move a Pro Bowler to another position because he took a few snaps in it 5 or 6 years ago.

How about this, I got 100 dollars that says Glover never sees a snap as a 3-4 DE for the Cowboys. Put up or shut up,.

Why do I need to make a bet with you? I stated a simple fact that can not be denied. You can choose to throw a pity party and run screaming thru the thread how right you are even if your not. It has no effect on me. Glover has played 3-4 DE in the NFL. So saying he can't play end is ludicrous at best

Man you are taking this one way to seriously, i know what this guy has been to the probowl for, but that doesnt take away from experince, 'im not saying he should be 3-4 E all the tim,e but you made the statment that Glover wasnt a 3-4 DE, you were wrong he has played the 3-4 DE, he can play it again.


And lastly i was merly follwing as a joke, realize this i am 16 turning 17 i dont have 100....(wel actually i do but i cant bet my money for soem stupid thing like this)

These injuries, I just wish there were a better way to prevent them. If it really is a serious knee injury, he's not only lost for this year but he'll be a work in progress next year as well. We just can't afford to be losing people so early in training camp.

Big loss for us, but it's not the end of the world. That's what we have depth for. Ellis, Glover, Ferguson, Canty, Coleman. May have left out a few but just naming the big ones.

dude 100 dollars is not friendly...well maybe to you it is, but for us people who dont have 100 dollars to go thrwoing around for an idiont purpose, it isnt friendy. Sorry if we're to scared to bet money for something as dumb as this

Stop the panic and talk of Glover starting at DE....sheesh...we may have more depth at DL this year than we've ever had.

Glover will be a NT...he'll definitely be at NT in passing situations...he may line up at DE on occasion, but we still have Ellis, Coleman, Canty, and Ratliff at DE...Usually only the top 3 get much playing time anyway.

Frankly, I'd be more upset if this injury was to a veteran like Ellis or Glover....we can compensate for an injury to a rookie.

Way too seriously? I see the potential to make money off the ignorance of others, what's the harm in that? People bet on the outcome of a game all the time, is this really that different?

I didnt say Glover never played DE, did I? I said he's not going to play it for the Cowboys. Big difference. I guess nobody is confident enough to put the duckets on the line.
