Speculation: Cooper/Gregory

Lamb looks like a 1B. He lacks the tools to be consistent and to take the lid off defenses, plus he drops a lot of passes.

When your QB is making 40mil, you've got to spend less somewhere. WR is the right place. Without Cooper on the field, Lamb looks like an average WR1 to me, and improving. That should be more than enough.

Wonder how feasible a Ridley for Cooper swap would be? I know Ridley had issues this year and only has one year left on his contract but it would save about $5 million this year and allow Lamb another year to develop into #1.

Swap makes sense on both sides. Neither team has to trade for a wr.

Without a #1 like Cooper who can run the full route tree like an expert this offense is toast. CD isn't even close to the type of receiver Coop is, no one else currently on the roster good enough to consistently take coopers place, and we have zero run game to lean on.
