I'd love to see the forty Whiners move to LA and give all their snooty fans a ***** slap across the face.

I would have agreed before Katrina now I think the NFL will do whatever they can to keep the Saints in New Orleans

After Gustav gets through with New Orleans this weekend, there won't be much left. Hope they have moved the buses to the high ground.

I was thinking the same thing. Kind of keeping an eye on it for my neck of the woods as well. Houston/Galveston area could be in the path.

I can't imagine the 49ers moving away from San Francisco. That would be too bizarre for words. The Los Angeles 49ers?Wow, that just doesn't sound right.

Al Davis is capable of anything but I'd be surprised if the Raiders bolt Oakland again.

The NFL won't allow the Saints to move because it would be a public relations nightmare for the league.

The Chargers make a lot of sense.

I think moving Jacksonville is the best choice after the Chargers. For the most part they've been relatively successful and they still fall short of selling out games. In my opinion it's just not a great pro football market. The state of Florida should probably only have two teams, the Fins and the Bucs.

If you move the Jags, make them a NFC West team and move the Rams into the AFC South.

Regardless 4 teams for a single state is to much

CA has 4 of the 15 largest cities in the US (LA #2, SD #8, San Jose #10, SF #14) - SF is far larger when you take its suburbs into account . Florida has three teams despite having only one city in the top 40. CA is very much like two separate states anyway -- the North and the South are completely and totally different markets.

doesn't the article say that the voters rejected renovations to the stadium? how are they going to play in 09 if it's not NFL ready and they're not renovating it

Geez why does California need 4 football teams? Seems a little excessive to me

I was going to do something special for my 3000th post, but I just could not let this pass by.

California has only two NFL teams; the Chargers and the Niners. I would hardly call the Raiders an NFL team. And the Niners qualify on by past performance.

Wonder what they would call a team in LA?

My suggestion: The Pansies

Any other suggestions?
