Since when has a HC done that? They are reported as cuts typically and then people figure it out via deduction. Garrett doesn't want to announce anything.

We invested a 4th in Ryan Russell and cut him after his first year(he actually showed more than tapper). I haven't seen tapper do anything warranting a roster spot. If it is indeed 8:

Jerry as the owner and GM has final control of the roster. He can say what he wants and it is not unheard nor inappropriate for a GM to comment on the roster.

You strike me as the type that if Jerry were to say water is wet you would get mad at him for not letting the ocean speak for itself.
