@gil_brandt Sporting News ranked each NFL head coach. Top four are Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll, Tom Coughlin and Sean Payton. Jason Garrett is No. 32.

He doesn't deserve to be in the top half yet, but that's just stupid.

Who gives a crap? He is here and is our coach. I hope he can turn this team around - he is running out if time

I am always curious how our coaches and our GMs manage to come in the bottom 10 in these rankings. I know that is what their perception is, but you'd have to think if you go 8-8 every year something has to be offset somewhere. Either a good coach is making chicken salad out of chicken crap from a mediocre roster, or a bad coach is misusing good talent. While .500 is not acceptable, I'm not sure how both can be ranked so poorly and achieve "average" results"

Garret that's his issues, but good grief Gil. The dude is going senile.
The rating was 23rd

JG edges out Marrone (BUF), Bradley (JAX), Philbin (MIA), Trestman (CHI) and Allen (OAK) amongst the current coaches ranked behind him:eek:. JG is the only one in that group with a QB;) All the other coaches in the rankings are first year HCs; Zimmer, O'Brien, Pettine, Gruden.

What an idiot gb is. .

23rd isn't exactly anything worth getting excited over either

I think 23 is about right. He's not a very good coach, but I guess I could buy that there are 7 worse than him.

That seem's a bit optimistic...someone's been drinking the koolaid.
