RVING -- In Alfred Morris' short time with the Cowboys, the veteran running back has immediately taken notice of Jason Garrett's standard.

Morris said the Cowboys head coach praised the team after Wednesday's organized team activities because they practiced well.

That wasn't the case Tuesday. There were missed assignments and the tempo of practice did not meet his standard.

Jason G. has a standard of .500 judging from his coaching history. If that's the standard they need to meet than someone needs to hit the road like yesterday. Hopefully this team can rise above that standard.

Look at the roster his first three years. Guys like Cook, Kowalski, Dockery, the corpse of Kosier, Nagy, Livings, Conner, Butler, Brooking, Wynn, Everette, Allen, Sims, and Lawrence all started for those teams.

Having one or two week links like TWill and Church on the roster is bad enough but if 50% of your snaps are going to below replacement levela dn I don't care if prime Landry is out there, he isn't winning. Going 8-8 with that garbage was not a poor performance.

Give credit to Romo. We all saw what our record would be if he wasn't starting.

He was so angry that he used a treasure trove of profanities towards players by clapping them out in Morse code.

what a joke. where were those high standards at last year when this team went 4-12.

I thought for the most part the team played hard and was competitive even with such a depleted roster. The coaches didn't let the players pack it in.

However, the coaches also didnt seem to make adjustments. We seemed to play not to lose but never to win. We played last year with out any balls.

LOL, you are actually supporting this piece of **** coach?

Name a team that would hire him above the position coach level.

Not supporting him here but in regards to another team hiring him I think after we were 12-4 hed have a chance. After 4-12 I cant see it. The nfl is notorious for recycling head coaches. Kubiak had some crap years in Houston didnt he? Geez look at Chip Kelly.

see that is my problem with garrett. sure the team played hard but really garrett gave the team no chance to win. he could have changed the playbook and play to the teams strengths and run behind the online more and adjusted the passing game to fit the qbs we had last year. a better coach would have won atleast three games without romo. the defense played well in some of the losses but the offense was beyond sorry. I am sorry if some of you guys like garrett I think the guy is a joke.

Yeah true. Garett seems to be the coach that Im always feeling like if he doesnt do something this year than hes done. Problem is Romo goes down and he gets a pass or something like that happens. Id be happy to move on for Sean Peyton or someone of the like but I wouldnt move on just to move on. Then again lets see what he does this season lol.
