Of course Dak would go #1 overall if anybody had any idea how he would do. He had the best statistical season of any rookie QB in NFL history. And it's about a thousand times harder to find a good quarterback than it is to find a good running back.

At this point if you are down on Dak while claiming to be a Cowboy fan, you're just an enormous jackass, sorry.

If Dak is number 1, how about trading him to Cleveland for the first pick and draft the pass rusher that they need?

No surprise here. If the 2016 draft were held again Dak would go to the Rams with the #1 pick.

"This spot went to Carson Wentz at the season’s midpoint, but the stretch run revealed Prescott’s polish and Wentz’s inconsistencies. Plug in the Offensive Rookie of the Year next to Todd Gurley (who won the award in 2015) and Sean McVay gets to open his Los Angeles coaching tenure at the helm of a dynamic backfield without writing off another season in the name of Goff’s NFL acclimation process."

I was waiting, and it looks like we finally have had a couple good drafts, and it's showing on the field, thanks Will McClay.
