I don't care how he "comes off", that doesnt change the fact that he shot at other human beings

Sorry, that is not a fact. Nor has it even been suggested by any witnesses, media, or lawyers. Only you it seems, over, and over, and over, again. READ please.

Sean Taylor simply takes out the trash.

Both the guys who stole his ATV as well as Michael Pittman (wife beater), are trash.

I will remember that the next time you get a speeding ticket.

A truly meaningless gesture in June.

Very wrong. It means Sean has been dissapointing this off-season, as opposed to getting raves and reports of good changes. He really needs that after all the problems he's had. Being demoted (even just temporarily) just means he hasn't done anything to better himself or his reputation.

From a Cowboys fan perspective, that's what I want to hear. Instead of hearing that Sean has his mind straight and has left all his troubles behind, he's being demoted by his defensive coordinator. Excellent.

Oh my, he's contributed to the gene pool. Children having children is never a good thing.

Maybe it's time to put a whole lot of chlorine in that gene pool. :D

Gimme a freakin break. ST will be the starter when the season starts. That is all that matters. Until then any movement between starter and backup is MEANINGLESS.

As for "he hasn't done anything to better himself or his reputation" this just in...he doesn't care.

Exactely...big dog!

The only reason that Sean "punk" Taylor is practicing with the 2nd team is because St. Gibbs is trying to save face to the media...by punishing poor little Sean "thug" Taylor!

You see...when the RedStink fans read that "Thug Punk" is practicing with the 2nd team...for a week...it gives all those RedStink fans an excuse to say..."Well, St. Gibbs did punish him! What more do you want? Sean "my lover" Taylor has learned his lesson...St. Gibbs would not have someone like that on his team...blah, blah, blah..."

And, another thing...I would not put it past the Commish to not suspend Sean "I point guns" Taylor even one game...!

Why don't you guys go watch the interview at: www.Commanders.com

It is titled Sean Taylor:Friday, and is in the media box on the right-center of the screen.

You will see how far off the media slant is against Sean, pretty typical though. He doesn't come off as arrogant, antagonistic, or attacking in any way. This is first hand evidence of how a reporter can slant an editorial piece in the form of a personal vendetta. Amazing!

I just rewatched the interview and am completely amazed about how wrong that Sportsline article is. Wow. Sean actually comes off as a humble guy with a sense of humor.

Di di di did he just reply to himself?

I think he di di did reply to himself, yes he did.

Alrighty then.

No matter the potential this guy has I am glad he is not a Cowboy and I will never want him as a Cowboy unless his attitude changed 180 degrees. I didn't like Deion as well, but the one thing about him was he cared about the game, his teammates and they way he played the game. All Taylor cares about is himself.

It's really funny to hear Commanders fans defend this guy despite his obvious character flaws. I know TO has character flaws as well, but that was before he was a Cowboy and to me he comes in with a clean slate and we go from here. If he decides to pull the same antics he did when he was with the Eagles last year then I will be the first to come in here and say he has to go. Unlike most Commanders fans I can be objective and call a spade a spade.

Do you really, honestly believe that T.O will change? But hey... he's T.O, everything out of his mouth is right, hes not just saying that because he made bank with the Cowboys... He's belittled his own teamates... because he didnt get the ball enough. Please tell me, is that a team player. And where do you get that Sean Taylor only cares about himself??? He plays the game to win. And yes the spitting ordeal was down right terrible, and yes it was a mistake... that's one mistake that he has made on the field. Big deal, now if he were to do something like that again... he would deserve a long, long suspension. This whole gun incident was outrageous, 2 punks came and stole his ATV's, he never pulled the trigger, hell we dont even know for sure whether he truly pulled out a gun. But, T.O is a saint.

Two years ago, Sean Taylor received a $7 million signing bonus. Last season alone, he earned over $300,000.

He could afford to lose an ATV, ten ATVs, 100 ATVs, etc. The real question here is why the hell would he even CONSIDER pulling a gun because someone was jacking him of his all-terrain vehicles???

Sure, Terrell Owens has issues. They are disgustingly well-known, but he hasn't done anything as blatantly dangerous as what Taylor either actually did or possibly thought of doing.

Well hell, he is a stand out citizen after all.
Seriously, it doesn't get any more lame than that. Pitiful.

"He never pulled the trigger" :bang2: The only person allowed to use that line is the guy on the sight side of the gun.

Yes. Someone should value another's LIFE, even that of a thief, over that of personal possessions which can easily be replaced.

Have you ever heard of the Police?

They are what you'd call a Law enforcement agency.

It was their job to investigate the allegations of Taylor and his gang of thugs that someone stole their ATV.

When he went to accuse them without calling 911 to involve the Police he became a vigilante. This means he stepped outside the Laws of this great country.

If you would act the same in a similar situation then quite frankly you are as clueless as he apparently is and deserve the same adjectives attached to you as he is getting.

he has a chip on his shoulder, but i didnt read anything to warrant that. your boy TO has said worse. much.
I live in DC. The kid is a punk & a headcase & has some serious mental problems. Despite all of his "character guys" BS Gibbs keeps spooning out, he tolerates it because the kid has talent. Mistake. Sadly, this kid is going to end up destroying himself & cutting his career short. He will never live up to what he could & should be. He got lucky this time, but he won't the next time. And there will be a next time. The only person Gibbs is fooling is himself--& skins fans stupid enough to believe it too. I think Gibbs is hoping he can keep the kid from blowing up long enough to retire--then leave the problem for some other coach to deal with.
