You lump Dak with Tannehill and Teddy? That’s crazy what Goff got.
However, it’s simply the QB market. Solid QBs, not elite guys going to make over 30+ (Dak, Tannehill, Teddy etc).
Nothing you can do about it.

But why would they - the data has shown that they won't be winning a Superbowl any time soon.Yep........and that is the thing that the QB challenged trolls dont get. Its simply the QB market. EVERY team that isn't paying 30 million plus for a top 10 QB wishes they were. ONLY teams basking in the glory are the guys with studs still on their current rookie deals.
Understood, but Tannehill and Teddy are not Top 10 QBs. Dak is.All those QB's will get around 30 million or over. That is what he is saying.
I always liked Tannehill.

Every team should want to land a quality rookie QB. Ride that Superbowl window for 3-5 seasons.

Still, the point is made even more for Dak getting $35+ million since the market demands Tannehill and Teddy get $30 mil/season each.
Right but it would have to be basically all the owners taking a stand to set market rates for players...which is basically collusion. At any rate, if you have a great player, there is an owner out there who is willing to break their bank for that player.Well, owners can simply take a stand and say sorry but I am not going to pay that kind of money for a QB...or DE....or LB...or RB.
Sometimes a team has to be more creative than just to do what everyone else is doing.
Hey, let's be stupid..er by getting rid of proven and still improving Dak in his prime... and instead draft a rookie while hoping he won't be a bust (which is very likely) while wasting this current roster's players that are still in their prime.Hey look how stupid the Rams are? Let's go be stupid too! Yay!
Yep. Plus, the NFLPA would never allow for owners to collude to devalue the market for free agents. The NFLPA would take the owners/NFL to court and win.Right but it would have to be basically all the owners taking a stand to set market rates for players...which is basically collusion.
