Spurs are better than your team.

WE STACKED

Parker/Mills
Green/Manu
Leonard/Anderson
Aldridge/West/Diaw
Duncan

If the 6-11 Serbian draft choice comes over there is needed size on the bench. That is the only concern I have but with the landscape of the NBA and smallball just winning the title I don't find myself very concerned.

Small ball typically has a hard time defending an elite intiror players. The Finals may have went differently with Love in there. GS may struggle to defend Aldridge and Duncan and it would allow Pop to slow the game down, something Pop has been great at over his career

It's a heck of a team.

I've been a Spurs fan since the days of the "Iceman" (and if the team didn't score 120, it wasn't trying).

These "dream team" scenarios scare me... Almost begs for something bad to happen. LOL!

I'm a long time Spurs fan but I'm not going to get over confident. Championships aren't won in July. I remember when the Lakers brought in all those top free agents (Payton, Nash, Malone) and everyone crowned them Champions in July and they were an embarrassment. I like your enthusiasm though.

we still need at least one more decent wing, but I love what we have done so far this offseason for the most part.

Sure but we have Duncan, West and Aldridge to guard those guys. I'm really only concerned about Duncan getting overused in the regular season but with Diaw and WEst as the backup bigs, unless a team has an elite backup 5 then I don't see it being an issue. The center talent in the NBA is awful nowadays.

it was a little different. When they brought in Malone, Kobe and Shaq were already warring. Nash was way over when he joined the Lakers, he was constantly injured. Payton was nowhere near "the Glove", heck, he wasn't even "the Mitten" when he joined the Lakers.

The Spurs have little to no ego. They are like a family. They know their roles, and fall in line according to Pop's word.

I am not overconfident either. While we have added some very nice pieces, and kept some very important ones, we still have some wing depth issues.

While that is a concern, I don't think the 03-04 LAkers are an apt comparison. San Antonio's core is still intact instead of a completely different team outside of Shaq and Bryant. Malone and Payton were 35+ at that point and not what they were even a couple years before.

Also that team had zero depth. The corpse of Horace Grant ended up not playing and the only decent bench player they had was Fisher. Compared to Mlls, Manu, Diaw and West the depth is night and day.

I have only seen the Korean version so you tell me. :)

I heard the new one was awful and didn't want to taint the first by watching it.

Yeh, I heard the new version kicked rocks....
The Korean version is one of my favorites movies.. I have no desire to see an American Hollywood version.
