Dallas Cowboys vice president Charlotte Jones Anderson said her father Jerry Jones is loyal to a fault. Criticism hurts him deeply but he always remains a resilient optimist, even behind closed doors.

Truthfully, if your only connection to him is as a fan of the Cowboys, you have more reason to hate him than to love him. Not only is he not pleasing everyone. He’s not pleasing most.

He doesn't please himself , as he has already said : if he weren't the 'GM' , he would have already fired 'himself' ? Some senile plain old crazy something like that ...

I look at the side that takes care of his players like family. Dez, Gregory, etc....These kids have issues, and Jerry never holds it against them. He tries to help them lead better lives, because he genuinely cares about them, and I assume there are a lot of people he's helped that none of us have ever even heard about.
I don't want him as a GM, but I respect who he is as a person.

Charlotte Jones is basically head of PR as brand manager.

The timing when this team is sitting at 3-4 with a real possibility of missing the playoffs again, is not a coincidence.

He's got about 5 billion reasons to be happy...

Post of the year.If I had 5 billion bucks, I certainly wouldn't care about a bit of criticism and I know none of the other billionaire reptilians like Bezos or Gates care either. LOL. Totally silly story and simply laughable.
As someone else suggested, I'd also hire a GM and insulate myself from the rubbish whilst I had fun jetting off to resorts and beautiful places that us proletariat can't even dream about.
I'd also ensure all Cowboys fans could afford to go to my stajum without having to be a millionaire to afford an actual seat - you know where you can actually sit down and see? Not a stupid standing room only area where you can't even use the loo without losing your spot and you need a telescope to see the action. You're better off at home!!!

It's pretty much what I would have expected. The man has his faults as a football guy, but as a father and a person, if you hate him, it's because you're trying to.
Runny, the problem is that the were the Halas' and Brown family have ceded control to capable football people. Jerry has his family making football decisions.

Do you mean Brown, as in the Cleveland Browns?

If you don't like things that people say about you, make sure they aren't true.

If he was truly "hurt", he'd change. His ego is too big. Zero sympathy.

I actually do like Jerry but just think he's the franchise's best advocate and worst enemy.

Garrett I've actually grown to despise.

I think everyone should try the stadium experience once. But you're absolutely right, that's if you can afford it. My ticket was $250 and l found myself watching the big screen because I was right on the brink of being too high up. I won't even comment on the food and drink prices. But it was my birthday and my friend treated. Had alot of fun all in all...
