The Cowboys, though, still believe in Romo. They continue with the thought that he has several more good years in him.

“We’re confident about him,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Monday. “I really do believe that Tony’s a young player.

I probably will disappear for a few days after the 4th pick in this draft.

I don't think the play-calling will change. Best we can hope is that we add to the running game and defense to improve them. Romo can win with that.

I agree. I just think sometimes we become too predictable. But Romo so far has been able to overcome this. I hope he can continue to do so.

It's not even that. I will lose my mind when we decide we can let one of these QBs go because Romo is a "young player".

They are just setting themselves up for having absolutely nothing at the most critical position on the field.

I'm torn on the QB issue. I know we need to plan for the future at the position, which could come as quickly as next year, but I also covet some of the impact players at the top of the draft who can absolutely make a difference next year.

I guess it's going to depend who's there. I don't want Dallas to pass on, let's say, the second-rated player on their board for the 10th just because he happens to be a QB.

Romo saying he would have come back is kind of crazy... breaking your collarbone three times in one season is not what your family wants to see.

And I don't want the Cowboys to *******ize the long term investment process of the NFL Draft for the 2016 season. I want to build a long term contender.

I've been fussing about the lack of creativity for years, too, and was happy when we brought in Linehan. I thought we were more creative on offense last year (although we ran the ball on first down too many times instead of taking better advantage with play-action).

I read something recently about Linehan saying they had to limit the playbook because of the backup QBs, so I don't know how much that affected the play-calling. Still, I'd like to see more creativity.

Since the draft is a crap shoot, then I have no clue as to who's the 2nd best player vs the 10th best player. But if the 10 best player is a QB, and that QB could be around and help you go places in the future, I'll take him.

I think we all want that. I just believe if we choose someone like Bosa because he's the best player available that it's a good investment for now and the future ... as long as Romo is able to stay relatively healthy.

The difficult thing is with Romo, we hope to not be drafting this high again, so it would be tough not to take advantage of that and get that QB of the future. But I do believe that when the time comes we can get to the top of the draft and get what we need at the position ... but again, that future might come faster than I hope.

I'm certainly not going to be sad if Dallas passes on better-rated player to secure the QB of the future, but I also will support drafting the best player at No. 4 as long as we make the moves we need this offseason to put ourselves in position to win now with Romo.
