its just hard to believe that a rookie qb will beat Rodgers with him playing so well but its the nfl so I guess any thing is possible
I found their comments to be completely non-inflammatory. A bit surprising.
I just don't want a repeat of the playoff game during Parcells last year as coach in 2006. The Seahawks had just signed 3 DBs from Home Depot. And Parcells refused to go after that team because he was nervous of Romo making a mistake. So he coaches (which was his nature) to keep the game close and try to win it in the end. And that approach causes a team to play tight (pre snap penalties, drops) and leaves little margin for error. I respect the Packers. But we should beat them. And just sticking it in Zekes gut 30 times against 9 man fronts is not the answer. We have a well balanced offense. Football in the modern era is played differently. We cannot be afraid to use all of our weapons.Sure, if we're down two scores. With this OL and legit MVP candidates at RB and QB, we shouldn't be down two scores early in a home playoff game. We should be able to sustain long balanced drives against a beatable defense and not play the Packers brand of football at all.
And if we can't do that against GB, it won't matter anyway, since we're going to have to be able to do it to ATL, too, if we advance. And their offense is better than GB's.
Thank goodness there's someone else here that knows something about football. If it was just a matchup between the two QBs, it's one thing but this game is between two complete teams -- quite a different scenario. Still, there's much to be said for both teams. It promises to be a very competitive matchup, by the looks of things. Vegas has us favored by 4 points, so there's also that to consider as well. Of course, there are definitely no guarantees for either team.

Exactly! Listening to all this talk about the Saintly A-Rod... The Gmen drove the ball at will in the first qtr and a half but couldnt seal the deal with TD's instead of FG'sLet's forget the fact that the Packers played like complete crap the first two quarters of the game yesterday. The Giants easily should have been up 14 or more points yet failed to finish. The Pack did not have to even think about defending a running game, the Giants were never going to commit to that. Giants give up a complete *** TD on the Hail Mary and that was the beginning of the end. Rainey basically gives them points on the screwed up kick return. Basically, the Giants gave the game to Green Bay.
I think we will run the ball down their throats like we did the last time, and when they add a man into the box we are going to kill them with play action. I don't see their defense being able to keep us from scoring, so as long as we aren't giving up quick strikes we should be fine.
The Cowboys running is just so much better than the Packers running game that it evens out.its just hard to believe that a rookie qb will beat Rodgers with him playing so well but its the nfl so I guess any thing is possible
I don't normally see Green Bay as major trash talkers--certainly nothing like New York always seems to be before playing Dallas.I found their comments to be completely non-inflammatory. A bit surprising.
An 8-6 GB playoff record with Rodgers is actually pretty good.Rodgers is only 8-6 lifetime in the playoffs and has only won more than one game in a playoff year once, 2010 when they won the SB. He is 4-6 the rest of his career.
Just go for his knee on the first play. Take a 15 yard penalty, who cares.
No Lawrence either.I just remembered....
We beat Green Bay without Dez and Orlando....
