Since we're playing the stats game, can you also list completion of 21+ yards per year?

Not hard to look up so for whatever point you felt like making, here you go:

2007 - 26/57
2008 - 20/59
2009 - 12/38
2011 - 24/52
2012 - 21/64
2013 - 15/47

Why does it matter? I responded to a post claiming Romo didn't throw it 20+ a game last season, not complete it 20+ a game.

I think it matters bit that's just because I like poking fun at stats. Don't mind me. Keep it moving. :)

Yeah, your map is really old. Dog! I was one of T.O. biggest fans when he came to the Cowboy boys. It was when he started his crap is when I did the "hater" stuff while you were still stalking him for an autograph! lol

I remember your TO evolution quite well kind sir.

i remember your's also. Actually, i still like T,O. because I read his book and know how he grew up. I wish nothing but the best for him in the future, he really does deserve it. He was an amazing player, but a malcontent at the same time because of how he grew up...but that is another story.

But, today, you dog Romo and then give him credit. Don't be wish washy, pick a side and go with it! lol

Awe shucks. Thanks.

Outside of 2011 (which sorta surprises me that that year was better) Romo has always been about 1/3 on the long ball. I would have guessed 2007 would have been his best season at that. Oh well.

Just to compare:

Brees 27/72
Rivers 18/49
Rodgers 21/54 (2012)
Brady 15/65
P. Manning 32/67
E. Manning 17/58
Stafford 18/60

Or in other words, no QB makes his living throwing deep all the time. Someone using Romos (ill) perceived lack of the even attempting the long ball last season as a way to knock him is ridiculous.

And no, I am not comparing Romo to any of those QBs in abilities on the field, just the reality of QB play in the NFL.

Nice research.

I'm just frustrated man. Don't mind me. I'll be OK after a few training camp reports...lol (or actually when I see Romo get up and rub some dirt on it after taking his first big hit)

I know, bro. We all are frustrated to some degree. But to lay it all on Romo is nucking futs! And it gets tiring reading posters saying the TEAMS lack of wins are all on Romo. Those kind of posters either are trolls, have never played organized ball of any kind, never served in the Military, or maybe don't even have a family to raise. And i hope you are not falling into that category...but it seems as if you are.

So, STOP IT NOW! Don't be a fool. Football is a team game.

Nah. I'm not falling into any category. I just refuse to give him a pass. He is just as culpable as the next person. I cannot tell you how many time I have been sitting there over the past few years talking my usual crap supporting the Boys with my usual group (which includes another Boys fan, a Jags fan, and a Steelers fan) only to blink and see Tony toss an untimely INT. He is a solid QB but we must demand more not just from him.. from everyone. I don't find him exempt in any way, shape, or form.

That feeling when you've enjoyed food, spirits, and friends only to find yourself in yet another situation where Jags & Steelers fan chuckles at the current event. ;-)

Are you a physical specimen like Antonio Romo ???... I think not (sarcasm).

I am certainly no physical specimen now but I did run 3 - 5 miles 4 - 5 times a week before my first back problems. I was in really good shape. That was 11 years ago when I was Romo's age. There is no way I could run like that after my back surgery. While the surgery did help me, I was not the man I used to be. I later had another ruptured disc(different disc) and another surgery. I do really hope Romo comes back good as new, but I am being totally honest in saying I have my doubts.

Is your name Tony Romo? Do you have millions of dollars? The best medical doctors money can buy? The best personal trainers money can buy? Just because you have trouble from your back surgeries does not guarantee that Romo will. He may heal faster, better than you ad come back 100% No one knows for sure, but with the resources at Romo's disposal I like his chances.

Where did I garauntee Romo would still have problems? I said I have my doubts based on experience. You are 100% correct that no one knows for sure which is exactly the point of my original post. Stephen Jones is coming out saying Romo will be ready for camp like his back surgery was nothing and so many posters in this thread are taking that as the gospel. The thing is no one knows how Romo will be and no one should start counting the chickens before they hatch.

His mobility in the pocket was his thing. Now I see an easy qb to sack.

Stop the presses. NFL Live just reported out of all our losses last year, Tony had 17 TD's and 3 INT's. I just report the facts. You can make your own gravy.

The point of my post was that your experience is not the same as Romo's. Everyone is different and each injury and surgery affects a person uniquely. He has access to much more and better medicine and facilities than the average Joe. I was just tired of every post you make being about your back experience when really it has no consequence to Romo. Stephen and the rest of them have access to Romo's doctors and Romo himself, if they believe he is ready then he is.

I understand, since Stephen says so it is a 100% guarantee Romo is good as new.
